+Sabrina .M "Famous" absolutely sucks and yes, this one may sound somewhat like Skillet's older stuff but there's nothing special about this one either. It doesn't stand out in any way. Probably because the verses are better than the chorus itself.

@@viktor1754 I agree with you when you say “no one knows anything”. To believe in something positive is always a great feeling, and this song brings out a lot of positivity. Until we all die, and leave behind the empty husk that our souls inhabit, we all will believe what we choose to. Live good, or live bad, and see what happens to you because of the choices you make in this life.

I mean everyone has their likes and dislikes.
I think I understand where he's coming from. Stars is a really mellow song. It's probably the only one of their songs that would be played in a church. Being a hard rock band, this is a huge change for Skillet. I'm not saying I don't like it. In fact, I'm a Christian and I love the song. However, most of Skillet's songs don't have to be taken with a Christian perspective. They apply in more ways than one which is what makes their music so popular. Everyone can find a meaning they like in their songs. Stars is a song that is very blatantly Gospel and difficult for a non-Christian to enjoy. Although, this is all just assumption and opinion. Don't quote me here, I'm just a rambling 14 year old 😂

It's much softer and gives a bit of a break from all the hard rock, with its electronic tones., which reminds me of earlier albums like "alien youth" and "invincible". Plus it does cater to Christian fans who might have wanted skillet to show their faith a bit more than usual in their songs. I was instantly in love with the song when I heard it. People say it's too pop-y but it's more electronic than pop.

2016 the worst year for my because i didn't find job to any place, i lost my dog, my grandmother died, my father had a accident and lost his mind. I fell into depression i remember i didn't want to eat and talk that was difficult for me and two month after that this shit i lisented this song and i wanted to live don't want to feel down don't wanna cry more and i went to the gym, learded english, I adopted 5 dogs and i never lost mine smile. for this song i can continue live

(BTW with so much contrast between light and darkness in some of your songs it makes me think of Kingdom Hearts, which for me is a really good thing).
