    O is widely used as a preservative in its salt form, with 58% in water, what mass should be needed for 100 grams of cream?

  • @jefersongueiros7414
    @jefersongueiros7414 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    A preservative is sold in solution at 9.5% of assets, the legislation determines a maximum of 0.6%. In 100 grams of cream, what is the% of use of this preservative?

    In this exercise involving petrolatum as a diluent and boric acid, there was an increase in mass, this means that 100 grams of petrolatum must be weighed ...

    • @PharmaceuticalCalculationsEasy
      @PharmaceuticalCalculationsEasy  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Are you referring to the petrolatum and 20% ichthammol question? If so, then the 300 g is the amount of petrolatum and the total quantity is 300 g + 200 g which will be 500 g.

    In that case it would have a final mass of 500 grams total ...

    • @PharmaceuticalCalculationsEasy
      @PharmaceuticalCalculationsEasy  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes. It will be the sum of the amount of petrolatum (300 g) and the quantity of the 20% ichthammol (200 g) which is 300 g + 200 g = 500 g.
