Very cool resource! Glad Crossway has something like this! I’m a Biblical Counseling student, I don’t need to learn Greek, but I have always been interested in it for just my personal growth of God’s Word.
Got this for Christmas and have been using it to read the GNT in a year- and it's fantastic. The glosses are helpful, and the included parsing is great for students who have taken Greek. A great resource!
I love this. I have their smaller GK text, but love the spacing in this for making your own interlinear version. It’s now on my shopping list. Thank you for making this video 👍🏻👍🏻
This edition does seem very useful for studying or even just practicing your Koine Greek. The space between lines is really quite convenient for parsing. Nice review!
I sport a Tyndale House GNT. I love it. TruTone and it's beautiful. I only wish more beautiful editions of Greek Texts would come out. Thanks for covering this, really really appreciate it!
Thank you for your review and presentation of the THGNT Guided Annotating Edition. It's appealing and inviting for those who wish to have a deeper understanding of the Greek New Testament, as well as for those who wish to refresh their reading knowledge of Greek. I think it'll be well worth the investment in not only owing a copy of this but also the commitment of time in reading and studying the text. Wonder if a similar edition will be available someday for the Hebrew Bible? Thank you, Tim for this video.
It puts a little section in all caps Greek that is essentially the same as what most English translations such as ESV put before those sections. The small book written about this edition explains their decision in doing it this way.
The Tyndale House Greek NT on biblegateway contains the longer ending of Mark, with a note that some mss don't include it and others have something different, but does not appear to include John 7:53-8:11. I don't have a paper copy to check, though.
It does not contain John 7:53-8:11. That is the only thing I dont like about this edition. At least the regular THGNT has it at the bottom in the footnote, but completely missing in this edition.
Hello Tim, I just subscribed to your channel and am really enjoying all the reviews so thank you! Would you be able to review the differences between commentary, concordance, dictionary, handbook, etc and give any recommendations? I am new to this and a bit confused to all of the different books to study!
It is nice. However it completely removed John 7:53-8:11. I know in thetir standard new testament it is placed in the foot note, but this format doesn't includ those notes so it is completely removed. I know this is a disputed story, but there should be some inclusion of it in the text.
This is really cool! For some reason, I thought there would be the ESV translation underneath the Greek since Crossway was also involved in publishing this lol. Would have been great to see both rather than being an interlinear translation.
I don't buy any recent Crossway due to their China printing. I do have their 2012 ESV Hebrew-English OT printed in USA. @3:26 the GNT is China printed.

Everyone that can learn to read the Greek well, should. It makes you a better user of the word, especially as a Biblical Counselor!

It took about 7 tries, but I have just become a member of the Tim Wildsmith Community. Keep up the great work.
I am not a student but nice to see this video and get informed 😊
❤❤❤I would love to know your favorite resources for learning Greek particularly for reading the Bible❤❤❤
What does it look like at Mark 16:9-20 and John 7:53-8:11?
@@RSNA-q7o Since those portions are not considered original, I just want to see how it handles them.

Awesome
Does this edition have the Textual apparatus?
❤
I hope they release those intros separately too. 🙏🤓

Is it both English and Greek
