@@random_dragon OH BOY OH BOY BUDDY YOU HAVE OPENED MY NEURODIVERGENT RABBIT HOLE AND I AM SO SORRY FOR THIS PARAGRAPH…
Okay blackbox warrior is a story so I’ll tell the story in order from how I’ve thought it through -
Stevens-Johnson Syndrome is a skin disease it looks like red brownish blotches on your skin and this person has collapsed in a hospital with the condition had a pannic attack and then went into anaphylactic shock the person telling the story then goes on to say this person has a butterfly knife and can spin it around recklessly risking cutting off all of his fingers
“Roman candles at both ends of his synapses” a synapses is a main key to show nervous impulses and is how your body communicates them- this case the blackbox warrior is burning his- so they cannot function-
Trojan horse is a story people used the horse to break into a kingdom-
A blood brain barrier is a layer around your brain that is pretty much protection- The blackbox Warrior broke into his brain and injected himself with a lethal dose-
Then we learned that the blackbox warrior likes to skip towns and travel- basically he’s known for wearing baby blue tuxedos his ego is pretty annoying like a mosquito and the person telling us the story believes that they are evil incarnated but hide it well
The black box warrior takes placebo which is a pill and a science experiment were you think it’s doing some thing but it’s not doing anything and he’s sexually getting off on the drugs that do nothing-
“Bless the torpedoes” torpedoes is old slang for hitman so bless hitmen is what the black box warrior would be saying
Then our narrator is saying this dude is so dangerous that he would’ve died by now if he was gonna die-
He was wearing stolen tennis shoes and wrapped a noose surround his neck when people tried to find him he had a list of people that he loved probably not in a mutual way he was probably stalking them
The people were waiting around for him to die and his vitals to go flat because of how unlikely it would be for him to survive, but he did anyways and he pretty much woke up and started singing (which who would wake up from dying and decide to sing something?)
His rib cage was like moving a lot and making a lot of noise. His heart started beating really fast. His vagus nerve. Which gives your heart blood. Was really really “knotted” the narrator uses three different things to describe just the knot
The black box warrior basically wondered if he could stop believing in a God then says “bye bye” he’s clearly losing it by now then the monologue comes in…
We now know who our narrator is
The narrator is most likely a therapist for the blackbox warrior
He tells him to come in, take a seat asking “Does he understand that he’s conscious?”
“ do you have ideas growing out of your ‘ intelligent’ head?”
He’s calling out him out basically with metaphor questions and writting down answers
Then to summarize says “my hope is to help you through through my objective report of your very subjective prepositions…..”
“Whether this proprietary bled of expertise and seasoning works as well as this
Transorbital ice pick” means “whether my therapy and expertise is able to help you as well as giving you a lobotomy would help you..”
      Holistic ballistics -
We can infer that the blackbox warrior starts to deny getting a lobotomy for obvious reasons -
And the therapist starts yelling at him as if he has a better idea to be “fixed” and says “it’s an idea ideas don’t spread because they’re good. It’s because people like them.”
“A bloody knife to spit your infrastructure “ is probably referring to the lobotomy
(lobotomy to clarify is where you take an ice pick through someone’s eye jam it into their brain and kind of just fiddle around and stuff and hope it goes well- )
Maybe give him some wine loosen him up-
      “Coital machinations of the dead”
Translation is basically “s3xual intercourse schemes of the dead”
The therapist narrator basically clarifies “ no matter what you do you’re gonna be an animal no matter what- might as well learn how to be one I never really thought you’d do any better than this your brain causes you to think of highly frowned upon beliefs. You are the problem.. not you but something inside you is.”
CBT is the kind of therapy for someone in a cluster B which we can assume that that’s what the blackbox Warrior is in and it is not working
“ please ignore the side effects you’ve lost your mind and almost lost your life before so you’ll be fine”
They most likely chained him down and are going to give him a lobotomy but it is OK though bc “ for what it’s worth, if something was going to kill you it would’ve by now…” and “ there’s no more looking back it’s looking up or looking down because we’re probably gonna kill you.”
Is it 1:30am yes--I love ranting about this song man I could do it all day…

      @thevoidishere.. :3c
This is one of my favorite things
      People getting excited about stuff
I have a different opinion on a few lines you interpreted, but everything else makes so much sense. Like, "if anything was gonna kill you, it would've happened by now"
As for "who would come back from dying and decide to sing?" Me. I would. 😂

do i add this to my growing collection of black box warriors to eventually be compiled into one mega black box warrior where the lyrics are even more unintelligible than the original or not... decisions decisions..

i’m planning to do this song for karaoke at my school’s fall festival but that means i have to learn how to pronounce some of these words and how to do the therapy monologue in like a month lmao wish me luck

I can't wait to get back to school for the monthly karaoke night! I can do it from memory- except I have issues with the monologue. Of course. I can do it looking at the lyrics but somehow the issue is that I take it too fast. Help.

Sure, I can sing this without stammering or muttering. I just can't breathe afterwards.

Tried it in 0.75, i still mess up a lot, though a bit less, monologue still unsuccessful, and on the top of that the actually slower parts are now harder because i'm not used to the speed and they require more breath. Managed the last "down" though

    • @agnozythehearthead

Update: I am now doing fairly well on the regular speed for everything but the monologue. Get a bit mixed up sometimes and my accent is atrocious but at least I now remember most lyrics. On 0.75 I did the full monologue and it was comprehensible. Continuing work over here

I honestly wished this was the original. One of the best instrumentals I've heard in awhile, but held down by Will Wood's odd lyricism and vocals that take me out of it
