Tara Platt as Elizabeth could never be replaced! That’s why I’m glad they never recast her. I had forgotten how much Elizabeth’s reactions to the human world made me laugh.
I memorized all of her lines in the original and love seeing the small differences. Net cafe vs manga cafe- no more smoothie bar! Though, I do enjoy the sound of her original voice and miss it a bit. Same artist, but I think she had a different tone. So cool overall!
I also felt like her voice lines were a bit more rushed/lacked some of the emotional intensity. I wonder if they tried to keep things moving a bit faster, compared to the original.
