My first great clubs were Wilson Staff blades 2 through pitching wedge, played at or near scratch for several years until my car was stolen with my clubs in the back. Found the car, minus the clubs!! Next great set Wilson Ultra 45's, True temper S-100 shafts, 3 through P. Staff sand wedge and 60°. I wore those things out. Got Calloway irons. Regrets yup!!

Long ago, I bought Ping Eye 2 irons with the black spot. I also bought my wife the same clubs but with the orange spot (i.e., women's Ping Eye 2's). In the spring after a long Chicago winter, I would use her clubs rather than mine. Always played great with them. I even came to the conclusion that the average men's golfer would be better off playing with women's clubs.
I bought a womans 5 hybrid second hand for £30 because it was almost a third of the price of a man's hybrid and also 5 hybrids are quite rare on the 2nd hand market for men. Works great actually, changed the shaft to a mens regular, and can't tell the different between that and a mens one. Not only is it in the bag, but it's one of my go to clubs.
I clicked 'like' after the 17th, as instructed :). But after the first 2 shots on the 18th I had the cursor hovering over the icon to 'unlike'. Close call that one Pete 😂 Lovely to see Sophie again. She's fun 😊

I get what you are saying, but I think women’s golf has probably had all those things ever since women have been playing golf. What they need is the chance to show it. Media has loved to decide who and what is worth showing in sports.

Unless you have the golf channel (and even then) the average exposure to women’s golf is probably nil…and tbh if it wasn’t for TH-cam I’d probably struggle to name any LPGA members as well. And of course my own concern for this matter is selfish as well b/c I have a young daughter that I’d love to get into the sport😁
