I was 100% sure that the whole "Why did the two neighbors accept that the fence between their yards was taken down and convert to an open format?" thing was going to get sinned.....
They're probably the ones who rebuilt it. They came home and found both gardens destroyed, then realized that without each other's nice gardens to be jealous of, there was no reason to keep arguing. Or they decided that no fence meant it was easier to see if the neighbor was ACTUALLY responsible for the crazy stuff happening. OR that's a completely different garden (perhaps at the abandoned house nearby?) to which all the gnomes moved after their original owners assumed they were destroyed and replaced them.
Yeah I was wondering about that. Sure, it shows the gnomes being friends again, but did the humans make up too?
By far the biggest sin of this movie is the complete removal of Mercutio's character. You can't convince me otherwise.

Nah, if they wanted to be true to Shakespeare, this move would have to be rated at least PG-13 and contain at least 3 sexual innuendos per scene.
Seriously, the first scene of Romeo and Juliet are two guards just dirty talking back and forth.

Oh, I'm well aware of all the innuendo fights and similar conversations involving Mercutio and the nurse. I was really hoping for that one scene in Juliet's bedroom with Romeo shortly after his banishment. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Well, the closest parallel to Mercutio is probably Benny's hat, since Gnomeo attacks Tybalt in revenge for said hat's destruction. Imagine the hat leaping off Benny's head and going into a three page long speech about Mab the fairy queen. That's accurate to Shakespeare.

Perhaps his standards have changed and there are some things in Tangled that he no longer considers "sinful" because those are conventions of the Disney canon. He should redo more movies, rather than reupload the ones that happen to be copystruck for whatever reason, and this time include a sin for leaving out the "let down your hair" thing that was trailer-exclusive.

What also didn't get mentioned is that the parents of Gnomeo and Juliet also fell for each other.. you can see them leaning onto each other and holding hands near the end of the movie, and then in the "couple dance" in the credits, they're also dancing together. Pretty freaky for a childrens movie
