+Chris Roberson I wholeheartedly agree with your feelings of the area. I have only been out there a handful of times but each visit has its own story. There is a connection I get with time or timelessness when in the wilderness... it doesn't care that you are there... it is going to keep on doing what it's doing and you are just a temporary guest.
love north georgia woods. been camping there for over twenty years now. great place to go to get away from the atl. maybe one day i can talk my wife into moving there. love jacks river. i thank god my rotc instructor maj. white introduced me and my friends to that trail and river when in the eleventh grade. been going back ever since. glad to see your friend has a sidearm. i don't have any respect or sympathy for people who go into the wilderness without a sidearm. good video. i talked my wife into letting me go for three days here in about two weeks. can't freakin wait. i'm 38, but i still get that childlike excitement every time i go. but i've gotten lazy in my older years. there are some nice campsites outside of chatsworth off ccc camp road that you drive right up to.
