Welcome to my channel! Please find here a collection of some of my interests. I have been blessed in life with a beautiful wife. Together with faith we have experienced an incredible range of life while raising four wonderful children. My equine addiction began when my wife was offered a "free" horse through a friend. May God's blessings be with you!

Happy Dolphins join a boat ride in the Gulf of Mexico
มุมมอง 263 ปีที่แล้ว
A group of friendly dolphins joined our fishing boat while we moved from one fishing location to the next. They frolicked in the crystal clear waters of the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of the panhandle of Florida. It was a beautiful day to be joined by the unfettered and unencumbered group of playful sea mammals!
Strong Winds at Ubehebe Crater
มุมมอง 443 ปีที่แล้ว
A very windy day in the Ubehebe Crater area of Death Valley National Park, California USA. The winds were unrelenting and sustained at more that 30 mph, lifting cinder ash from the crater floor and causing dust storms in the area. It was spectacular and unrelenting!

GO BIG RED!!!!
After man o war!
That magnificent horse took that last challenge personal…he threw down the gauntlet and said “come go with me if you can keep up…but I doubt that you can”
Es lo mejor que he visto en este mundo tan hermoso tan bello valiente fuerte noble tan puro como Dios lo creo
I was 11 and still remember
I’d rather hear the race call than the loud music
The horse that GOD made and whispered in his ear Lets go i remember it like it was yesterday i was 9 years old and my dad and older brother were watching the race I'll never forget my dad saying look at that SOB run it was a very special kind of spring and summer that year 1973 the good old days a lot has changed since then some for the better and some not
One of a kind. No horse will come close to the BIG RED. He was powerful!
As they come around toward home, Ron finally let him go!
And God made his Horse and named him Secretariat!!!!! (Greatest horse of all time)!
You can't even hear the announcer.
I love the music they selected to make this video it's called Ecstasy of Gold
Legend
What a moment in time!
I never tire of watching this film........Secretariat..............the "GOAT"............
Dial back the music
Secretariat was Man O War in previous lifetime !
Remember, at the end of the race, Our Native and Twice a Prince were BOTH running hard just to get 2nd place. Secretariat was STILL pulling away from them both.
He may have run like a tremendous machine but he didn't have any wires inside. He was all heart ❤️
Breath taking performance of secretariat 😬😬😬😬🤭🤭🤭🤭🫣🫣🫣🫣🫣
Wow, never tiring to watch these races over and over again deja vu all over again
The Danish Philharmonic orchestra's rendition of the Good, the Bad and the Ugly was perfect background music.
Even at the end of a mile and a half race….he’s still reaching for more ground and keeping that steady rhythm.
Half a century later, still unmatched. What a majestic feat. It’s hard to believe he was real.
Notice that Ron Turcotte never took out his whip. 31 lengths may never be beaten.
Oh, Happy Day was the best music for the movie. The directors, producers knew what they were doing. It fit that time.
I KEEP WATCHING THIS.....THE FEELING DOESN'T CHANGE.......???????
I could watch this race a 1000 times. Secretariat was a Gift from God. Such an amazing Horse.
Better without music...
I agree. They would be well advised to remove it.
The rest of the horses were telling their jockeys, "Go on without me" near the end of the race, while Secretariat told his jockey, "Hold on!"
The music in this video is horrible.
Wtf with music
My mom said I believe in pegasus because on that day I saw a horse fly
1973 was a remarkable year in sports. Not only did Secretariat win the Triple Crown and set track and world records in all three races, but Nolan Ryan won 20 games for the first time in his career (21), while setting a single season record for most strikeouts (383), throwing two no-hitters, 26 complete games, and 4 shutouts. On September 27, Ryan went 11 innings vs. Minnesota and posted 16 K's to top Sandy Koufax's single season strikeout record.
BIG Red. Love this horse. Awesome horse HAPPY ANNIVERSARY And to . Eddie Sweat awesome groomer.
Damn. Secretariat only beat the record by 2 and 3/5 seconds. Who the hell was the horse that had the record till then?
The previous record was set in 1957 by Gallant Man. (He’s in the US Hall of Fame.) Coincidentally, his son My Gallant ran against Secretariat in the Belmont, finishing 3rd.
@@jm1657 Wow nice, thanks.
@@markucla My pleasure.
One last coincidence… in winning the Belmont, Gallant Man defeated the favored horse: Bold Ruler, Secretariat’s dad.
The best horse at all time so far!
The music sucks. The race call doesn't need any enhancement...
It's now May 2023 - Derby Day - tears every time I see this triumphant performance.
Secretariat was a great Horse 🐎 a far second to Undefeated Triple Crown Winner Seattle Slew 🙂🇺🇸
Not second to anyone
Those were the good old days
Too stinkin cute 😊
Greatest horse race I have ever seen, will never be matched.
I was 10 when I watched Secretariat win the Triple Crown.I still get emotional watching these videos, fifty years later.Every time I say 'He is moving like a tremendous machine' along with Chic and my throat gets tight.I stopped watching horse races live after Ruffian broke down in '75,these were the first for me and they'll be the last.Huge.Very emotional. They broke the mold after Secretariat was made.Truly magnificent.
I watch videos of secretariat all the time and every time my heart beats faster. I was lucky I got to go to the Belmont with my husband. But now 50 years later secretariat is still a champion and I think that when I went to the Belmont I saw the greatest athletic event ever.
It just amazes me because I know that this race was run by secretariat, but Ron really didn’t control him. He just held on.
I love how the cameraman had to pan way back to the left just to pick up the rest of the field, that’s how far ahead Secretariat was at the finish.
Yes
It was almost like the other horses gave up, and threw the race but that horse was a freak of nature, built to run by God himslef.
Music is too loud
I was 14 yrs old when I saw this horse (on tv) simply destroy the field... I couldn't believe what I had just witnessed! I just recently turned 65... and to me, this is still, the most amazing sporting event ever. I remember (back then) people were questioning why few horses were competing in the final triple crown race... and someone mentioned that the owners of the other horses were reluctant to put their entry fees in because they didn't think they'd win.
I’ve read the same about the other trainers’ logic. But I don’t understand it. Do you? Because the horses that Place & Show (aka finish 2nd & 3rd) still earn money, right? So doesn’t that make it worthwhile to enter your horse, even if you feel certain it won’t win the particular race? Especially if it’s a very prestigious race?
