The way Thyme cried broke me. And then Gorya crying too. I was sobbing
I felt so bad for Thyme in this ep. Of course, everyone suffered as well, especially Gorya, but being told that the person you love was just leading you on, using you and lying to you the entire time while you were madly in love and planning your future together is so freaking traumatizing. Of course this is just a drama, but in real life, it takes people a lot of time and therapy sessions to recover from something like that 😭.
Especially someone like Thyme, who already has had a lot of problematic people in his life and has been through so much psychological trauma already.
Imagine having a mother like that...Mother Gothel who?
@@laurajanco2i Yes, Thyme's childhood makes it even more heartbreaking. He never received the love he was supposed to from his mother, and just when he thought that he found someone who loves him back, he is told it's all been a lie. I cannot even imagine the amount of heartbreak, his heart was definitely shattered to pieces 😭.
That mom knew she can't win to Gorya by actions so she strategically bait on gorya weakness and play the emotional card.

i didn't expect much for this ep. but when i watched it last night Omg! it's a beautiful rollercoaster! i mean it.
The "one year has passed" isn't from when thyme's mom tricked Gorya. It's from the very beginning of the whole story to this point. The story started when Gorya just got into Kocher high school. This EP shows the F4 just started their university lives. Plus, the girls referred to the time when they bullied Gorya, which was ended looong time ago.
Anyway, yeah, surprised about the mom's move. Like, with that ego? But, she did say "for the perfection, nothing is too much".
And the reason Gorya didn't tell Thyme his mom was sick is because she was supposed to "break" him and not just "ah this is unfortunate but you gotta run an empire now". Gorya was very convinced Thyme must be wrecked in order to grow super fast.
I was like "what? hurt to grow?" at first. Then I recall my 36 years of life and, fuck, somehow it feels like pain did make me grow. Now this is kinda a bit unsettling.
(edit) Also, I don't think we'll see a redemntion arc for the mom. We saw how many of the bad guys here became bad. But by not showing Thyme's mom's back story, it makes her special, the serious villain that anyone can hate and fear while the other "villains" before were just like children stuff. Now this is the adult, serious, business. But who knows, I actually kinda want to see how anyone can persuade me to hate the mom just a bit less.
Actually you’re wrong it would be 2 years since the beginning of the series. Gorya even said in one episode that she had known F4 for a year which would have been their senior year. Gorya left school and has been gone for a year as the girls said this school year has been boring with out Gorya.
@@rhyker9597 You can pause when the 3 girls post about "1 year ago" and there's a FB post which is marked "1 year ago", it's when Thyme draged Lita away in his birthday party. And the plot itself says the F4 are grade 12 students (senior, final year) while Gorya is a grade 11 student (junior). F4's graduation marks 1 year since the beginning. The 3 girls meant it's been boring since Gorya quitted, while saying they were still fighting 1 year ago, not Gorya quitted 1 year ago.
Guys, I just feel bad because we are not getting a break and I can see the frustration in your eyes, unfortunately (no spoilers), the next episode is gonna be even more frustrating. It's a neverending roller coaster and it's probably the most angsty version so far.
It's been a lot😂 I feel like it should have been longer, so we would have had moments of peace in between, but they went for 16 episodes, so we can't help but suffer everytime.
The thing now, is explaining Thyme why Gorya lied to him and then he's gonna understand. It's gonna be hard, because even if Ren tells him the truth about Gorya leaving and not accepting the money, Thyme is gonna be super confused as to why she broke up with him, but he eventually is gonna face his mother about it anyway.
I love not knowing Roselyn's (mother) backstory.
As audience, we should despise her and be detached by her methodes, we don't really have to understand her...the only information you know about her is that she's a business woman and that's all that you should have to understand her character.
That's her background and that's the reason why she's like that...the rest is not important.
Sometimes giving backstories can make us resonate with a person, but they are just showing us a woman who was ruined by society, someone who's victim of expectations and pressure and therefore pushes those on her son, she's a woman in career who's been corrupted by the system.
I don't know a better background than that😂
oh boy oh boy this ep ahhh im telling u just like they said this witch couldn't be redeemed ..
i have never felt so angry with an character before, but that woman literally made me cry in anger (Cindy is killing it in this role btw)
I do think she's lying about being sick, and even if she isn't is still very selfish of her, she's not worried about her son's well being once she's gone, she's worried that her company might not survive if its led differently, wich is why she won't let her daughter take over the business, Tia is compassionate and so is Thyme, but their mom sees that as a weekness. I also think that Thyme still doesn't believe Gorya but it's heartbroken because for whatever reason, she gave up on them and that's a fact, she left him. If the mom is telling the truth than her redemption will be her death, you can't really be mad at a dead person (right?) but if she's telling the truth I hope Tia somehow finds a way to get Rosalyn deposed and takes over so Thyme can go to College and eventually, in the future, help his sister at the company

Javi I know they put the scene of how she leaves him because of the power of the mother x and honestly I didn't think that in this version the mother-in-law was so damn unhappy and uff bright angry he looks very handsome more It's normal but if it gets on your nerves with his wave of I'm intelligent, handsome and damned usshh, ren is everything that is good in this life uff super cute and it is understood that gorya is someone is Very special for him, what will the leader of the f4 do when he finds out about his mother's lie?! You should never joke with a terminal illness and even less when talking about cancer because you don't know the Harmful damage to family members when there is a person who is sick of that nature!!
I think its interesting how these two don't see she broke up with him cause she thought she was doing what's best for him

I find it so odd how no one in the series didn’t say if she’s terminally and want someone to take over look at the obvious choice…. The adult married daughter whose been working under her for years…. Am I the only one who was like Ummm you have two kids lol
This series has been entertaining. What I don't like is the need to make Gorya gullible. What poor person takes in rich people like strays. Gorya believes anything anybody tells her. She is not smarter than Thyme. Sure, she can spell. That's not a big deal. So can most people. But, can she handle multi-billion baht deals without feeling sorry for the competition. When Gorya let Thyme's mother hug it, Gorya became ten times the dummy she has accused Thyme of being. This Gorya is a pawn. Redemption for the mother is not the problem, it is Gorya's lack of common sense.
she's worse in other versions so I'm not really mad at this one. This feels more like her being gullible is a testimony of her compassion, she's always willing to give anyone a chance.

I’m kind of disappointed in Mom’s deceiving plan. She is high- level business person I expected more from her to take down or fool Gorya and all F4. Dying due to cancer is kind of joke and typical Thai lakorn.

Always enjoy your reaction, but I think this episode is a bit cliché, bxxch-mom playing the emotion card in order to put the gf in the spotlight to break up with her son for stupid reasons. I'm excited to see Mike at the end...😊😊
Remember that this is a cult (Taiwan being the first to adapt the story in 2001) when it comes to Asian dramas. It's one of the clichè story for excellence, full of common tropes and plot devices. It's still so good to see though, because every country and year, brings a different flavour.

I cant agree more. Im mad till the end at Gorya! Yes, the mom need Thyme to continue her empire but he doesnt have to be evil right!?
