Because the Lakers have been trash.. it's pretty bad when a 40yo is by far your best player. How did that go for MJ in DC? That's what I thought... Lebron at 40 is as good as MJ in his Prime. That should tell you something. Their peaks don't even compare if we're talking about as individual players. I do admit that MJ had a much better team system and coach around him toward the second half of his career ('91-'98) that was pretty much unstoppable. Just imagine what Lebron could've done with that, considering he's the superior player. The League would have been even more unfair than it already was.
If you were around at that time, MJ on the Bulls was like KD on the Warriors; nobody could compete with them. They were one of the best teams in the League even before MJ came back. Lebron has proven he can do it with multiple different franchises with completely different teammates and completely different coaches. MJ couldn't do it outside of Chicago 😢

Lebron james has won more playoff Series' than any player in NBA HISTORY
Lebron james has been to 10 nba finals. Only Bill Russell and Sam Jones (in a mostly nine team league) have made more nba finals appearances
LeBron james carried an absolutely horrific 2007 Cleveland Cavaliers team to the nba finals
In the modern NBA era (post 1960) only nine NBA top 75 players have won a championship without another top 75 player as a teammate
      Rick Barry (1975)
      Bill Walton (1977)
      Hakeem Olajuwon (1994)
      Tim Duncan (2005) (2007)
      Kobe Bryant (2009) (2010)
      Steph Curry (2015) (2022)
      LeBron james (2016)
      Kawhi Leonard (2019)
      Giannis Antetokounmpo (2021)
As you can see, LeBron James is on the list and Michael Jordan isnt
Lebron james has won 17 playoff series, without an nba top 75 teammate. Michael Jordan won ZERO
In the year before Michael Jordan and LeBron James joined their team and the year after they left their team, their records were
      83-84 bulls 27-55
      84-85 bulls. 38-44
      92-93 bulls 57-25
      93-94 bulls 55-27
98-99 bulls 13-37 without Scottie Pippen
      00-01 wizards 19-63
      01-02 wizards. 37-45
      02-03 wizards 37-45
      03-04 wizards 25-57
      02-03 cavaliers 17-65
      03-04 cavaliers 35-47
      09-10 cavaliers 61-21
      10-11 cavaliers 19-63
      09-10 heat. 47-35
      10-11 heat 58-24
      14-15 heat 37-45
      2013-14 cavaliers 33-49
      2014-15 cavaliers 53-29
      2017- 18 cavaliers 50-32
      2018-19 cavaliers 19-63
      2017-18 lakers. 35-47
2018-19 lakers were 20-14 when LeBron James got injured on Christmas day.
As you can see When LeBron James joins a team, the team improves more than Michael Jordan and when LeBron James leaves a team, the team always goes into the tank.
Michael Jordan, excluding the 94-97 seasons, when the NBA moved the three point line to 22 feet, was a career 28% three point shooter. LeBron James is a career 34% three point shooter
Michael Jordan was a great defensive player, in an Era where you could handcheck. Playing defense is much easier when you can handcheck. For nearly 6'9 250 LeBron James' entire career he wasn't afforded the opportunity to handcheck.
THE EVIDENCE IS CLEAR..LEBRON JAMES IS THE GOAT!!!!!
      I have added a Postscript
So many have replied, that LeBron james didn't make the playoffs his first two years and Jordan did. What they fail to say is, in 1985, 16 of 23 teams made the playoffs. In 2004, 16 of 29 teams made the playoffs. It was MUCH EASIER to make the playoffs in 1985, as opposed to 2004. Perfect example is, the 1985 86 bulls went 30-52 and made the playoffs and the 2004 05 cavaliers went 42-40 and did not make the playoffs. Also, I don't know, possibly, maybe, Jordan had a HUGE ADVANTAGE considering he played three years of college basketball and LeBron James was 19 years old, and straight out of high school

I agree with everything you say except for one thing. This is not the biggest lie in sport media history. The biggest lie is LBJ being on the GOAT level and being compared to MJ. Adam Silver and NBA was so desperate for the their MJ of this generation that they generated these lies.
Edit: This lie is up there for sure. It’s very comparable to “he makes his teammates better”.

@@vicepresidentmikepence889 None of what you posted changes the fact that LeBron has a losing finals record (4 of 10). He’s had the privilege to play with more Hall of Fame and All-Star teammates than Jordan or any other superstar in the history of the NBA. And he’s had 22 years in the league but only has 4 titles. MJ won more titles, has a perfect finals record, played fewer years, had less help and still accomplished more. MJ was so good they changed rules to try to slow him down.
By the way, if a person goes to McDonald’s 10 times but only returns with food on 4 of the trips because they were closed, they don’t brag about making 10 trips to McDonald’s. They only talk about the 4 successful trips where they achieve their goal.

But Lebron played like absolute garbage that entire series and his "trash" team kept all the games close and played smothering defense against the dynastic Spurs team. That team was already assembled, he WAS the help that they needed. Houston? Him, Olajuwan, and Pippen were clearly on the back end and his back was horrible. @dope_itsDee listen to their words man. AD says they can beat any team in the league right now if they play their best and try their hardest. Lebron says they have to play damn near perfectly to win against top teams. Isn't that how it should be? You shouldn't be able to just play half-speed and beat everyone. The logical inverse of what they have said is that they think they should be winning without having to put in full effort. This is exactly how Lebron James has always been since he left Cleveland the first time; he doesn't want to compete. He wants the deck stacked in his favor in every way. He wants multiple superstar teammates, he wants all trades he needs, he wants to play WITH the best players in the league, not against them, he needs the refs to give his teams more calls, he just needs everything in his corner to be able to win. That is not competing.

11:11 Bro THANK YOU!!! When AD said they are two moves away from competing I had to think for a second. Like bro, 70% of the teams can say the same thing. There are only 5 starters per team, of course if you upgrade 40% of your lineup you’re going to be able to compete. These dudes are so out of touch man smh.

Unless the Lakers are allowed 6 players on the court, there will never be enough defensive help.
This presumes opponents are 5 or less players on the court.

As a Michael Jordan and bulls fan and since MJ in his first season with the Wizard was leading them to the playoff before the injury, I’m perfectly fine saying that the last five years of Lakers teams with MJ as the leader (in his prime or even past his prime) would have at least made the Finals every single year. And you know that when Michael Jordan is in the Finals, he wins the title.
So to me, with this team, Michael Jordan could have gone 5 for 5

The way people can misconstrue a comment is mind-boggling. I don’t like to explain myself, but I believe I said "could have gone 5 for 5." I'm not saying that's a certainty.
However, considering MJ's leadership and mentality, I truly think that from age 35 to 40, he could have led his team to 5 Finals and possibly 5 rings, especially given how soft the league is now and we saw him be a solid two-way player even with the Wizards after a three-year hiatus from professional basketball, one can only imagine how great he could have been between 35 and 40 if he kept going!
LeBron, with AD and Westbrook in the 2021-2022 season, finished with just 33 wins, whereas MJ, at age 38-39 and missing almost 20 games due to injury, led one of the worst teams to 37 wins.
So, sorry (not sorry) if it seems like a stretch, but I truly believe MJ could have done that.
Would he have? I don’t know for sure, but considering teammates like AD or perennial stars like Howard, Carmelo, Russ and a bunch of other pretty solid role players, I do believe he would have made all 5 Finals with those rosters, I know that much!

I cannot wait for LeFlop James to retire. It sounds like AD is just another victim of Lebrons BS. Y'all have 2 top 10 players! Its not like the rest of the team is worthless. Every team is 1 to 2 pieces away from contending, depending on the pieces. So sick of Lebron James.

    • @dope_itsDee
      @dope_itsDee 7 วันที่ผ่านมา

So the Hornets, Wizards, Pistons, Nets, Raptors, are 2 pieces away? Be fucking for real lmao

    • @Dpitzle
      @Dpitzle 6 วันที่ผ่านมา

@dope_itsDee Yeah, like I said. " Depending on the pieces". If that doesn't make sense I'll give you an example. You put Joker on any team in the NBA and they are potentially a contender. If you don't agree with that, then what would the Nuggets look like without him? I realize those kind of players aren't traded or moving teams very often but it does still happen. So yes, any NBA team is without question potentially 1 or 2 pieces away from contention. In the future stop and use your head for a minute...or five in your case before attempting to diminish takes you might not initially understand
