I purchased my RK50C about a year ago now and I just love it, super versatile sounding amp with tons of gain if you need it... I highly recommend checking one out, or at the very least go listen to some Richie Kotzen, he's in my top 10 musicians of all time list.

Love Richie’s playing, his solo catalog is fantastic. It’s nice to see him getting some love on TH-cam. Unfortunately, his amp is a little out of my budget, although I do have his signature telecaster and it is a killer guitar
Envy you all those beautiful awesome tube amps you own and have access to to try. I've never been able to buy one for myself still trying to budget in a Bugera someday. Keep doing demos of them. Gives me tips on what to look for.
Save for more than a cheap bugera
I tried one a few years back and loved it. Really reactive off the guitar’s volume knob and the boost was great. I just wish it had a bright switch as I was unsure how it would be in a band mix. Something similar to the V30s mk1 or mk2 switch

The only thing I would demand is a 3 band EQ.
I would have liked to hear more the tremolo fx integrated.

Kinda surreal! I just heard the winery dogs yesterday where he plays. Have not had the pleasure of hearing him live up until yesterday. He is insanely good!

Great demo, mate!. Been a Ritchie fan since I was looking for a Tele during lock down. I saw his signature guitar, his name rang a bell and I looked him up. Such a great vocalist, guitarist and great guy.
Correct, you don't need to pre heat your valves, but as the valves are warming up, the amp can create a frequency that guitar speakers aren't designed to handle and can ruin them. It's bot a given, but it does happen.
Fun fact: Kotzen in German translates to “puke.” Now you know. 😆

been watching those reviews about three laps by now, still favourite tube combo, guess it´s time to pull that trigger as those are on used market. Also still great to see Rob rockin after a decade even if not as avid guitar youtube follower anymore! weirdly i played sunburst tele fingers only, same pickup setup as Richie long before i ever found him and fell in love with his stuff, so it would only make sense to have that amp.
I’ve been meaning to pick up a VC35….but the Kotzen definitely sounds great. Hope alls well my friend; see ya in a few months!!!

I am truly curious Rob I just purchased this amp absolutely love it. Great for my gigging blues. However, I missed it in traveling to England and just doing some bar gigs man I’ve been gigging for around 38 years. I’ve watched you from the time you first made appearances on the Internet, and I have listened to all of your music and things you have participated in truly admire you’re playing, looking forward to meeting the captain, of course and Danish Pete definitely going to go waste a lot of money at the guitar store lol. Been watching it on TH-cam for years now and finally looking forward to getting some of those fantastic UK prices however, I was curious if while I was there if scheduled appropriately how much you would charge to do an intensive Masters improv class hit me up and let me know I’ll be traveling through in the winter so it might be a good time. Thanks peace and keep up the great work on TH-cam Man and I’m looking forward to seeing what you produce next. Thanks been watching everything you do just happen to pull this up because I just bought the amp do it later so my fans peace

Hey Rob appreciate the videos and your usual honesty. Not a criticism, but don’t want you to be hated on, with the controversy around victory and the hazy involvement of Lee. I would personally say hold off on the posting of the brand. I’m sure it’s a great amp and it’s awesome they’re British made, it’s just a shame full transparency wasn’t given from the start. Keep up the good work and rock on mate, nothing but love 🤘
Appreciate your point, and actually kind of agree with you, although of course, Lee is one of my best friends, and I absolutely love this amp… so I don’t really know man LOL life is a difficult maze to navigate sometimes
Sounds great, as do many Victory amps.
I recently got a BD1 off Reverb for a decent price (the RD1s cost more), love it, but I still want to get a matching victory 1x12 for it. I'm currently using an Orange cab I bought in 2008 when i got my Orange Tiny Terror (what can I say? I like discontinued 3-Knob lunchbox amps!). Sounds good, but looks a bit out of place!
What type of speaker would you suggest for a 1x12 for home use (I like the 2-watt setting)? Their Vintage 30-loaded 112? Creamback? Something else entirely?
I always used the vert 2X12 with my RD, one, which is the same as the BD1

You should get back together with him and do a project The new stuff's cool and all but I think you guys together were an unbeatable team. And just something about the chemistry and that guy on bass is so sick. The drummer was pretty cool.😊 You need to get back together with Massad. You guys just had a flavor that can't be beat.😊 Just remember sometimes you don't know what you got till it's gone. Yeah baby, keeping it super real apart from the guitar audio was a blend of IPhone and from that ribbon mic on the floor

I realise this is completely irrelevant to this video, but I was in Andertons today looking for a product that does not seem to exist, and this bothers me. Namely: I like modellers, but I hate playing through FRFR speakers and much prefer playing out of "real" speakers, and it would be nice if there was a combo that sounded great but stayed absolutely pristine even when you were absolutely caning it. You can do the whole power amp and cab thing, but a combo doesn't seem to exist. Or at least I certainly can't find one.
Im sure its a great amp, but i would never in a million years buy any guitarist signature amp.
