You can really see that there is a growth in Adie's voice. I mean, it's hard to have a singing style like that because it doesn't work all the time; it might seem easy, but not everyone can easily pull that kind of style off. It's airy and breathy, but still aligned with the melody. Adie has this subtle voice, and his breathy vibrato is so good. The thin melody and the falsetto are just right and clean. It really works for him in that style. On the other hand, you can really feel how good Janine is as a storyteller in this song, and her singing voice really shows how experienced she is as a singer. She has this sweet, raspy tone that is really captivating. Both of them complimented each other; they didn't overpower each other, but you can still see their individual styles. I think aside from this beautiful version of this song, the most interesting thing is how it was crafted and written

The reason I mention that it's hard to pull off that singing style is because people can easily copy that kind of style but it's hard to pull it off since it's either you will sound monotonous or out of tune but it works for him. If you know what I mean. Dynamics are technical while style can be just style. For example, when you say dynamics you are referring to the voice itself like using the head and chest voice, runs, vibrato, and so on. While, singing style is how you color your voice using techniques
@@Frodoooows Unless you are a tone deaf singer, you will really sound monotonous but if you can hit the right notes, I don't think it will be hard to sing this. Just my opinion though, I know that you are well versed in music by the way you comment.

It's hard because it's hard to pull of that kind of voice since it's easy to copy and there is a tendency that it will become out of tune or monotonous. I'm not saying that his techniques is hard, what I'm trying to say that his style is hard because not everyone can pull that kind of style. It doesn't always work on other genres and songs

A lot of new gen opm artists have been making waves these days. Majority of them are not just singers but songwriters as well. The future of the Ph music industry is bright.
So happy for our new artists,all are talented in songwriting and singing.
Good thing we have youtube and other socials these days. Artists can now freely express themselves and ph networks can no longer control as to who gets more exposure. It somewhat negates the bias and favoritsm culture.
