I do like how often Klepacki appeared as an extra in the cutscenes for the first two games. One of the bonus behind the scenes videos released along with the Remaster from a few years ago revealed he was wearing shorts in that final Allied cutscene (where he plays one of the nameless Allied officers), though of course that scene is filmed from the waist-up so you'd never know otherwise.
Real shame you did not add in Retaliation in here , General Carville is probably the most recognizable character (after Premier Cherdenko ) in the game series .
Barry Corbin (the actor for Carville) still had this hilariously dated looking personal website that was active as recently as 2 years ago. It also had a few demo voicelines and promo pics of himself as Carville that I don't think I've seen or heard anywhere else. You may still be able to find it via the wayback machine but I haven't checked.
@@Henskelion I just found it on waybackmachine and it does have a certain geocities feel to it. It even had a visitor counter a good decade after they went out of fashion. Thanks for this, as a Web Developer myself I have a certain fascination with the old stuff!
I love that sometimes I see the tops of videos come up and I think, 'that sounds like something kaluven would like', then I scroll down and see it's your video :D
Love the video! Thank you! I too have genuinely been interested as to who the actors/actresses of of the first few games are and what they've gone on to become.. I might be able to help you with a few more tidbits of information.. Regarding Tanya, Joe Kucan was asked about Lynne Litteer's performance in an interview several years ago (link attached below, the 13 minute mark). He mentioned that she was a (and I don't fully understand what he says here) 'Circ' (Surc/Cirque/Surq????) performer.. (Circus Performer?). It may be spelled differently according to his pronunciation.. I hope this helps! Other than that piece of information there is nothing out there that I can find! He also says that it was her first onscreen performance so that it makes sense that career is probably based in a different line of work! th-cam.com/video/G3guPPClNGo/w-d-xo.html Keep up the great work!
Can you please give someone $10 to do your png tuber model Otherwise great video, I love knowing more about the actors in these games especially because of how niche they are now
iirc the Actor for hitler was actually a hitler character actor from germany who basically made a career playing him but i can't recall the name Also i feel like u did Frank a disservice , he has had a prolific career even after westwood and is still an active musician and does live concerts with a C&C fan band
I certainly didn't mean to give him anything less than my full admiration. Frank and his work are up there with the very best and I'm glad to see that he's working not one but two upcoming RTS games, Stormgate and Tempest Rising.
@@ROTTERDXM I just wished the had done some old-school FMV briefings with actors. The game engine they have, plus some greenscreen FMV and Klepacki's music would have really ticked all the boxes and made a neat modern C&C style experience.
I think I'll never get tired of the RA Chronosphere effect.
I always feel like actors in the older games never got enough coverage given how important they were to the whole feel of the games

Agreed, something I'll add to a future video.

If my channel ever makes $10 it will be my first investment, although I will miss those cold dead AI eyes.

@@kaluventhebritish wait what klepacki is doing the Tempest Rising OST? They're really hitting all the buttons!

More red alert actors.
Nice. I admit I've wondered about what else the cast got upto.
Quite funny to think Hitler's identity is a mystery 😂
I enjoyed the fact that it was Eugene's second time playing Stalin. Had already done the prep!
