- hello hello hello! I impulsively booked a trip to puerto rico and visited San Juan and Culebra which is voted one of the BEST beaches in the entire world. I go tarpon fishing on a boat, drive through the rainforest, eat pinchos on the side of the road, hop on a ferry to go to an island and visit one of the nicest beaches in the world. ENJOY! SUBSCRIBE!

As a Puerto Rican girl who looks white, was born in Florida and hasn’t been to my fathers hometown since I was a toddler, I love the side of Boricua you’ve shown me. Its connection to food and nature, its culture and kindness, and its real beauty. I’m not one to comment but this video really hit home, so grateful for your enthusiasm Mai. @@veronica-AMdo a city lights dinner cruise on the river if you love seeing city lights, or hit one of the riverside restaurants 🥰, check out the botanic gardens, a road trip to the Sunshine Coast (any beach is a beautiful beach), then take a lil road trip to the Gold Coast for a day of shopping, maybe stay the night there, hit the town and explore/eat out/shop etc, you can also do a day cruise to Tangalooma island for some dolphin feeding, see the ship wrecks, explore the little island have some ice cream etc. In New Farm on Sundays at the Powerhouse there are amazing markets, you can buy some delicious food and sit at the park by the river 🥹 Honestly the city itself there’s not much to see besides restaurants/cafes/shopping, but there are activities ALL around Brisbane 😁
went to syd for christmas and it was so good but i didnt get too see much im a brit and it was too long of a trip (the longest flight(s) that ive been on) i was so moody from jet lag and was so tired but it was amazing for what i managed to see

I'm American but my Ethnicity is Puerto Rican, I wasn't born in PR but I had the luxury of traveling there with my family just October of last year! It was great and the food was delicious. I really loved it there and I'd love to go back. The nature and forests were unlike anything I've ever seen as a city girl!! So glad you liked it. Mai

just an fyi: puerto rican is not an ethnicity! you can be a white/black/asian/indigenous puerto rican. puerto rican is a nationality. hispanic/latino is the ethnicity!

Hey Mai! I love that you went to Puerto Rico, it’s my island and I love it. There is major problem with tourism rn here because many rich Americans are trying to buy natural land and push the native people out. It’s a very sad situation, we also have a struggling economy because of the Jones Act which cause us to pay 2x more for basic items here. I would love to dialogue with you and give more resources about this since I’m very passionate about my island since it is my home and my families. Additionally I would like to add the inefficient government and more causes many puertorricans to suffer. More than half of the population lives below the poverty line and the United States neither the government has been trying to help the situation. Again, thank you so much for your visit and would love for you to come again but also showcase the hardships and stories of the people of this island❤️🔥we need our voices to be heard.
