After bachelors in India goto canada , get masters from any damn college , apply and get a PR .. wait for 3 years and get citizenship… apply for TN visa and work in America … this is the best way to enter America and work without the hassles of h1b … have kids in America and when they turn 21 they can file for your green card …. This works very well for folks in IT as pretty much most learning is self learning and college doesn’t make much of a difference … and you won’t be stuck with h1b lottery and people trying to take advantage of you in companies and travel restrictions … plus in eb2 or 3 you will never get a green card anyways … already few friends of mine on this path

Well, that's over now that Modi has ordered a murder of an Indian on Canadian soil....Never again will Indians be allowed to come to Canada or the United States. It's over for the Dong Dongs.

How will you live between completing your masters in Canada and getting PR? Are jobs in Canada as plentiful as the USA? Canada is a small country (in population); so number of employers and job opportunities must also be low.

@@politicallyincorrect1705Self educate in IT . Start right after 12th. If you have good tech skills, you can easily find jobs. Lots of American companies are hiring remote workers in Canada as it is in the same time zone, even big ones like Amazon and Microsoft. You might be aligned with a local office, but the work is with US based clients and so remote opportunities.

TN visa has restrictions on buying property or starting business in the US, so it's not the same as green card.

If you can't do an inter-departmental transfer to Canada - you can utilize an EOR service such as Syndesus who can sponsor a CDN visa to move your US tech job (and salary) to Canada.

I have 5 years of work experience in manual testing. My F1 visa got approved recently for a low ranked day-1 CPT college! I could learn things faster but I had never done coding till now. Is it a better decision to switch to the coding side now? Can I compete with the other people and get a job by the time I graduate? I heard that people apply for some hundreds of companies and barely get 2-3 interview calls. From now on, I think the situation will be worse after 2 years as lakhs of students came into the USA this year. My college classes will start on October 16. I hardly have 20 days in my hand. I'm in the utter state of confusion. Any suggestions please?

It makes no sense that 30 year old guy will be preferred over 40 year old guy. The 40 year guy will be much more experienced and senior to 30 year guy. So they will likely target different levels.

I honestly think you are better off moving to US on TN visa than H1B. Get Canadian citizenship when you are young.

Again uncertainty will prevail in that situation you will get everything as long as you have TN visa even a credit card, driving license etc..

I had short stay in Untied states around 4 months. Am I eligible for H1B or O1 VISA as I already worked on J1 visa.
I would be extremely grateful to you If you help me out.
