It was an enjoyable challenge for me. 😅 IMO it's best to attempt them while you are calm. Otherwise you are prone to making more mistakes than usual. :)

Glad this helped. Oxide Station is indeed difficult for some. The key there (at least when I was still learning to maintain blue fire) is to use the terrain to perform Air Brake / U-Turn as I discussed in my OS Blue Fire Tips. Anyway, congrats man. I wish you luck for the rest of the dev times. 👍

I’ve noticed that the dragon mines karts change timings. Mine were coming a little bit later than yours and that made it hard for me in the final lap where I had to stall a bit to let the kart pss

You know what I would love know is the dev time process like when said dev is racing to get the best possible time they can do they have to make a tiny mistake to leave room enough for a player to beat the time or is it just a level of skill
I know. Just look at the time difference of Velo's ghost and Dev's ghost in Dragon Mines. I thought they would go only for 1:21 or 1:22 but holy 1:19:XX? I was surprised myself haha. The Dev Times aren't going anywhere so if you feel like it maybe try them again soon. No need to pressure yourself atm.
Press F for WumpaLewis' attempts when you watch the Polar Pass run. (if no one know or missed smt: he already done that track, so do not worry 'bout him. Just took him many attempt, that's all, whilst Kindred makes it so easy, his turns not only sick for me but sharper(?) and more smooth)
Private lobbies against really good players that I do before I end my live stream has helped me greatly improved over these past months -- so I am grateful to those people who have always played with me. Anyway it's not impossible. It may just take more time for some people. 👌 Oh and thank you for the compliment. 😄
I used Speed for the majority except for Tiny Arena where I used Turn. This doesn't mean you have to go with Speed all the way too. A lot of dev times can be beaten with Drift. Though for some like Crash Cove, it is easier with Speed than Drift.
hey you there i got master wheels, the only tracks I struggled was turbo track, slide coliseum, dragon mines, god those tracks we're nightmares, but I did it.
So, droftong actually slows you down sometimes compared to jumping. I just smoked him on a track I’d been playing perfectly. I was drifting and jumping and as soon I was just jumping he was eating my dust.
Perhaps it's because you are taking the shorter distance from point A to B while just jumping. Best example is on a straight path and using Turn Driving Style. When you power slide as Turn, you drift more towards the left / right, correct? So that means if you continuously do it from A to B, instead of saving time, you are adding more. Whereas if you just drive through straight, you cover the minimum distance. Minimum distance = Shortest time *Both situations are assuming you have Sacred Fire / Blue Fire

I don't understand how you properly clear the fence. I'm able to make it over every time but ultimately slow even though I keep fire. Even went and watched your fence shortcut video but you do it differently here! It's killing me man.

I can confirm that it's possible with Drift since someone from my community has been trying it and he is already at Bonus Tracks. Just have to hug walls better than the dev ghosts.
I just started playing again after like halg a year and tried crash cove today but i guess i need to learn some more tricks to cut down those last 0.53 seconds. going to beat those times in my free time now
Hmm Turbo Track, Papu's Pyramid, and Thunder Struck? Mostly because I haven't played those in a while now and in Papu's, I was trying to do a perfect grass cut -- which isn't really required.
Speed for the most part since I am used to U Turning. Drift is definitely viable as someone I know beat everything with Drift, although for certain tracks like Crash Cove -- it may be easier with Speed. The guides I made for Deep Sea Driving, Hot Air Skyway, Slide Coliseum, etc. were done using Drift.

@@Catatafish Ah I see. It's programmed like that so you do not hit the ceiling while you are at Blue Fire speed. Basically you still carry over the Blue Fire that you have before you pass the Turbo Pad ramp.
This is a prime example of a man going through Hell and back unscathed.

Yeah, gotta get lucky with the kart cycle although a friend of mine recommended skipping the track intro after 2 seconds for best cycle.

You are mistaken. More air time is always slower; you will often see pros drift over jumps instead of pressing R1

What class do you need to be? Every track William P. is on makes it seem no class helps
Speed / Drift. I suggest Speed if you have mastered the Ultra Turn technique. If you haven't, then Drift will do.

Never tried... It MIGHT be but you'll have to maximize optimizing your racing lines like a WR run. Take this with a grain of salt.
Yes it is possible with Acceleration and Balance. It is even possible to beat some with turn

@@Catatafish Ah I see. It's programmed like that so you do not hit the ceiling while you are at Blue Fire speed. Basically you still carry over the Blue Fire that you have before you pass the Turbo Pad ramp.

Doesn't really matter much -- It's just easier to hug corners with the classic kart.
@@KindredCVS ok cool, i'd imagine that the smaller the character and kart the smaller the hit box so you wouldn't bump into stuff as easily
