Just started putting together all the 4.0 heroes now that I’ve sorted most of my old ccbs. Evo as a set was as good as it gets but I always wished he had kept the purple in his color scheme
I like how unlike other TH-camrs, Ben uploads each day, and the videos are still high quality. Because other TH-camrs take days to upload
My first set of this wave alone side toxic reapa.
I remember hunting for this everywhere when it came out since Evo was my favorite character and this was his best iteration. Still don’t have it lol
“Mush a couple heroes together” way to go describing my entire mocing process when these sets first came out.
Also custom combiners for the win!!

7:18 im so glad you also pointed out the aqua raiders similarities in Evo after talking about him going underwater in brain attack, cause i also tougth of that and made my version of Evo inspired by that idea💛💛💛
I always have trouble making mocs of evo because i feel that he doesn't have a cool quirk that some of the other heroes have, furno could have fire powers, stormer has ice powers, surge has electricity powers but evo only has blasters or swords that don't have much flare, idk maybe it's just me

Evo to me was always the 'detox' trooper. His signature look is always his breathing apparatus, and he's fighting in places where that makes sense, he's fighting through smoke, he's fighting Toxic Reapa, with his toxic fumes, he's fighting Aquagon, underwater. If you can think of a situation requiring a breathing apparatus, Evo can be made to fit it. Also always had that trend of one more armoured arm, one less armoured arm, too, or at least different balance of armour.
I remember the hype for 1.0 helmets for Evo and Nex... I think Evo’s is great, and Nex’s was a bit too busy. Love this version of Evo
Daaaaaang! This has gotta be one your best vids in terms of the mocs you showcased, imo. I love the styles of builds in this selection, each one awe-inspiring as well as regular inspiring! I'm def gonna get back to my Bionicle-type moc...once I get some sleep.

Ps. The 'Wandering Assassin' moc totally reminds of the 'Giant Djogarri' diorama by the TH-camr Gameyy Builds. Though his bird isn't a robot, just the rider is. Still awesome.

Love this guy. Not a huge fan of the smooth looking joints and armor from hero factory and the system it introduced but I do still love the look of this guy
I remember being in toys r us and was told I can choose one lego set. Evo was my favorite hero but i chose breakout Rocka instead. I ended up using my own parts to make my Evo 2.0 to match his breakout look. Thats what I love about Lego if theres something you want you have the ability to make it yourself.

I wasn't initially a fan of breakout evo because i wanted another weapon, so in terms of parts it's not what's appealing, cos it's a lot of what can be found elsewhere, but as a design i always thought it pretty at least.
Today I found that I own a slightly expensive bionicle mask.
Item number 41413, "Bionicle Mask Vahi" in flat dark gold goes for a minimum of 17.49$
I wasn't expecting to find out I owned a piece worth more than 5$
I keep forgetting most of my MOCs aren't on flickr...I should fix that, also have an Evo.
