I wish you guys understand the relevance of Whalien 52 and the only whale to BTS and Army 😭 The "loneliest whale" is called that because other whales can't hear the frequency in which they communicate. Daegu is an industrial town , smth like Detroit in US, and Daegu men along with Busan men are considered to be extra manly\macho, the daegu and busan accents are considered very manly too :)

I don't think you understood what the numbers in J-hope's part in the song Ma City mean. :) These are the numbers, actually the dates, that concern his hometown, Gwangju. Those numbers represent Gwangju's area code and a specific date. The "*" sign you see in some parts of the subtitles indicates that you need to read the explanations.

You guys have pigeonhole yourself into thinking that every high note is jimin. Jk also does a lot of their high notes. In fact Jin also can hit high notes and even V although he might not do them as much or as often. This is not anything against jimin but against the reactors themselves because they are setting themselves up to limit their ability to be more objective, impartial and open minded when reacting which in the long run will only bring them criticism and maybe even hate.

Seeing you react to Ma City really makes me want to see you check out their free Busan concert. It was an outstanding performance and if you ever do get to concert content, I'd definitely recommend starting with that one.

Yehey....you finally heard Whalien 52, Bapsae and Ma City. It's hard to choose faves since everything here is a banger but Whalien 52 is so close to my heart. I sympathize with the lyrics. To hear a song that beautifully articulates loneliness is so heart-warming and wonderful.

You guys should definitely watch the explanation video for Baepsae. I feel like it would help you guys understand this song better and the impact it had on their Korean fans/society. It resonates with international fans because of the generational differences it speaks about however it was geared specifically towards their own economic issues in their own generation. In Whalien, the high whistle sounding melody is actually a sampling of the 52hz whale vocalizations. They use it throughout the entire song. Also we got news from the scientific world that the lonely whale finally found other whales (or whale) that sing in the same frequency so it is no longer lonely... and if that isn't the story of Army and BTS idk what is lol. Funny how these things work.
you guys always ask who sings an especific part that you guys like, those lyric videos are colored coded for that reason, each member has a color and the text follows those colors so just be attentive to that, the high note in whalien was jungkook, as you can see the text of his name is red and the text of the woah is red too, meaning it was jungkook who sang that, so i hope it helps
Ma city is one of my favorite BTS songs and the energy from the live version is craaaazy (also love the use of Franky's theme at the beginning, my OP nerd self jumped out)
The lyric video of Ma City indeed missed Tae's part but for all those who think that Jungkook's part was added unnecessary, he actually harmonizes with Tae in that part..In live performances though, I think just Tae does that part..A lot of times actually, the studio and live versions have some exchanged parts..Like Dope high note which was originally done by Jimin in the studio version is now done by Jungkook in the live ones

i hope they start giving you guys links to better color coded lyrics, at times the lyrics are so simple compared to how deep they really are in doolset’s website. i get how it can be easier to follow along though. ‘enjoy bts more’ has pretty good lyric videos but they’re mostly performances

I do think it's important to listen to an album fully to get the full experience. Especially some of their later albums have a clear sound and theme that makes the experience better to listen to it beginning to end. I do understand time constraints, but just a suggestion.
CCW, a suggestion if I may....! You could just play the songs you already listened to and not have an in-depth review anymore. Listening to all of the songs in each album really enhances the feel and one's understanding of the album as a whole. Just so you don't miss out on how satisfying it is to listen to a BTS album from start to finish 😊💜
I second this!! I feel it it's important to listen to listen to every song in the album back to back in order to experience the album more cohesively! Hope they consider this for their next reaction!
I mean I am sure they listen to the albums fully on their own time, this is just to minimize the amount of time they need for each album (especially the full albums, those get close to 2 hours even skipping the songs they've already heard!)
Yeah whalien 52 is Jungkook’s high note. Jungkook is the main vocalist so he does do high notes occasionally. He ads most of the adlibs too.hopefully y’all do Jungkook the main vocalist of BTS by Ida s.

She is the best the best among channels that tell in detail about all the guys from BTS. and there are almost no such channels where they can talk in detail about Jungkook. as if he is being deliberately ignored since he is the main vocalist of the group. By far my all time favorite album as a long-time army. If I could go to any concert in the past it would be HYYH pt 2 in Seoul. The videos of it were so amazing, the live of Ma City is incredible. Love it!

Daegu is like 4th biggest city in Korea 😉 but it is more industrial, then for example Busan second biggest city - port city. But there arent that big difference between 2 to 4 places and 5-11, but Seoul is biggest and there is like difference big difference to second....

You got the wrong colored code of ma city...taehyung parts given to jungkook and he didn't even have harmonize with him in the growl parts..just the end of the song they singing together All the live performance from 2016 until the last busan concert ma city comes with the best energy i love this song so much especially the iconic growl of tae 😂he's even almost cut suga to growl longer...you should watch the 2019 busan concert
Actually, Jungkook did harmonize with Tae in those parts in the studio version..The lyric video was still wrong though, it did not light for Tae in his part..But Jungkook was there in that part too

You guys really to watch the Busan concert it was their last concert together and the band is in the back the whole time for Daniel and Gabe . It's a little sad at the end because they are all a little sad because they know it's the last time to see army..and the concert was free. Also the next day Jin announced he was starting his process for the army..it's also full of energy from Jimin and Jk because they are in their city..
That high pitched sound going on in the background throughout the whole song was the frequency the lonely whale makes. For me, the song represents BTS and the ARMYs. Pz this was the time when haters (including fandoms or other groups and the netizens) were constantly spreading lies and throwing hate on BTS and ARMYs. The lyric video of Ma City indeed missed Tae's part but for all those who think that Jungkook's part was added unnecessary, he actually harmonizes with Tae in that part..In live performances though, I think just Tae does that part..A lot of times actually, the studio and live versions have some exchanged parts..Like Dope high note which was originally done by Jimin in the studio version is now done by Jungkook in the live ones
Jungkook has the most singing parts and harmonies and adlibs. He has a lot of work to do. He really is the perfectionist.

@@JackInTheBox0294 do you not recognize their voices? and actually people make and guide the color lyrics with their parts in their performances, songs that they never did live are more difficult to separate, like "Louder Than Bombs", but with this albums there's better videos to react to that have the right parts and right lyrics :)

I do think it's important to listen to an album fully to get the full experience. Especially some of their later albums have a clear sound and theme that makes the experience better to listen to it beginning to end. I do understand time constraints, but just a suggestion.
CCW, a suggestion if I may....! You could just play the songs you already listened to and not have an in-depth review anymore. Listening to all of the songs in each album really enhances the feel and one's understanding of the album as a whole. Just so you don't miss out on how satisfying it is to listen to a BTS album from start to finish 😊💜
I second this!! I feel it it's important to listen to listen to every song in the album back to back in order to experience the album more cohesively! Hope they consider this for their next reaction!
I mean I am sure they listen to the albums fully on their own time, this is just to minimize the amount of time they need for each album (especially the full albums, those get close to 2 hours even skipping the songs they've already heard!)

By far my all time favorite album as a long-time army. If I could go to any concert in the past it would be HYYH pt 2 in Seoul. The videos of it were so amazing, the live of Ma City is incredible. Love it!

You guys really to watch the Busan concert it was their last concert together and the band is in the back the whole time for Daniel and Gabe . It's a little sad at the end because they are all a little sad because they know it's the last time to see army..and the concert was free. Also the next day Jin announced he was starting his process for the army..it's also full of energy from Jimin and Jk because they are in their city..
Fun fact, Jimin has “ Nevermind” tattooed across his ribs because of the song.
That high pitched sound going on in the background throughout the whole song was the frequency the lonely whale makes. For me, the song represents BTS and the ARMYs. Pz this was the time when haters (including fandoms or other groups and the netizens) were constantly spreading lies and throwing hate on BTS and ARMYs. So BTS and ARMYs are lonelytogether coz they were outcasts in KPop world coz they don’t do the norms that everyone are used to and they BTS are the Dark Horse that toppled all the Big 3’s biggest artists!
