Range Anxiety and the ICE Adventure HD with Shimano Steps ep8

Range Anxiety is something any e-biker knows about...or e car i suppose as well. Can I make it to my destination without running out of juice?
We do a real world test in BOOST mode and calculate how accurate the initial reading was.

In a more perfect world the motor system would have the “smarts” to collect voltage, current, distance, speed, pedal effort input and compute a very accurate “miles remaining” number. Perhaps even going into an autopilot mode and adjust its assist to make sure it will get you home when you tell it you are still 10 miles out.
Thanks for running the trial Mike. My Befeng model does not have a range predictor. So I slide in the second battery, top off the charge on both when I ride with the Plano Lowriders. You never know where you will end up with those guys.
