my 1989 Wrangler was made by Chrysler as YJ was the designation created for them when switched. My son worked for Dodge and informed me what the letters stood for. C= consumer J= jeep version designated by number after the letters. Sorry I forgot the reason he said for Y J but it was the end of the AMC CJ line.

I had a ‘91, now I have a ‘10 JK Rubi and 16 JKU 75th.

They were made by Chrysler starting 1987... Prior to that they were AMC.

Yep, although the frames were a complete disaster
