I've always wanted to hike in there, so thanks for sharing! Nice views of the trails and waterfalls. Good thing I'm used to bushwhacking. Reminds me a lot of the Cranberry Wilderness, but maybe even a bit more wild.
Overall this was a beautiful hike. It was about 2 miles that were really rough. As long as you pay attention, the bushwacking parts are intuitive. If you like cranberry, I would absolutely recommend hitting this trail.
Very nice filming of your Otter Creek trip. Looking to go there soon. Could you share what trails you utilized for your trip? Thanks for any info you are willing to share.
There are quite a few camp sites along the trail. They are pretty easy to spot. I think if you are makeshift camping, I think you have to be 100' or greater. I rarely make a campfire, its a lot of work to manage and ensure its safe before going to bed or leaving the site.
@@caspersadventures4656 thank you sir. Another question would be the firearm policy. Isn't West Virginia open carry state. I'm from Maryland and would like to bring my handgun for protection, unless the park itself doesn't allow it?

How far away from trails do you have to be to set up camp. Can you start fires at a random makeshift camp?

@@tmoss017 Perfectly fine to carry. The park follows WV firearm laws. Best resource would be the USCCA map.
