    Want them for my sons' T7. He just did a run to AZ and back to FL (4600 miles) in 8 days and said his hands were in bad shape because if them (he's a marine engineer and obviously uses his hands all the time). Took about a week to get feeling and strength back.

    I would like them for my new KLR650 I got after watching your videos, my first bike too. Ended up with the adventure model, dealership gave me a deal I couldn't refuse. Going with most of your mods, but I am thinking of going with the Motoz GPS tires though I am still doing more research. Being a midwest rider I am definitely looking to put on the Tusk grip heater with some new grips. Went with the swanky style GPS and the vvmapping. Thanks for all the swanky content always looking forward to your content.

    My throttle hand always goes numb and falls asleep on long highway rides on my T7, don’t know why I have waited so long as well to research to upgrade the grips . I will be adding these grips ! Thanks for this review !!

    On my CRF 250L I just got soft grips that fit over the stock grips.

    Those levers look sharp- might prefer a different color but I can see the difference. They are way more of a good fit.

    Another trick for getting gripos on the handlebar is to pour some rubbing alcohol in them and on the bars. This gives you enough temporary lubrication and tit dries with no residue.

    I appreciate your honest review on the grips and levers. On a slight different topic, is the handlebar swap a game changer? Thanks for sharing

      Thanks! Yes the new bars totally eliminated the wrist pain I was having last year.

    Those look great. I’d like those on my T7 because the stock grips with that half ribbed and other half non ribbed kind of annoys me. I’ll switch over my T7 grips to my drz because those grips are coming apart haha.

    That high fender isn't needed on a Adv bike also it looks kinda weird on the t700

      I've seen low fenders get packed with mud and totally stop forward motion. It happened when the BDR crew was pre-running one of the BDR routes. I don't remember which state they were running at the time.

    I agree Swanky, the stock grips are very hard and slightly too aggressive.
    I’d love to win the grips for my T7 so I can ride with more comfort.
    How have you been finding the new bars without bar end weights? More vibrations?

    • @SwankyCatProductions
      @SwankyCatProductions  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm not really sure if they vibrate any more than they did with the weights but they aren't bad until 5,500 rpm and then they smooth out a little after that.

    On the rear tire I only seem to find tubeless Motoz tires. Do you just run a tube in the tubeless tire?

    • @SwankyCatProductions
      @SwankyCatProductions  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've got a 150/70-18 tubeless. Rocky Mountain has them: www.rockymountainatvmc.com/tires-and-wheels/motoz-tractionator-adventure-rear-motorcycle-tire-p?ref=1042&

    • @deltabravo1257
      @deltabravo1257 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, you must still run a tube in the tubeless tire on a T7 because the wheel is not going to be air tight through the spoke nipples.

    Will the sleeve shift without adhesive mounting?

    • @SwankyCatProductions

      I've never had an issue with the grips moving. I think it helps that they are extra sticky.

    Thanks for the tips on grips. I've been running a discontinued version of Progrip grips on my DRZ since 2006. The grips lasted at least 15 years / 14k miles.
