Today I show you another abstract work of art. You will go back to painting in a detached way. The first layer of paint is very simple. Simple tools are in the foreground. You can use a nail brush but also a bristle brush. Have a look around the house, because the cake lifter, as I have already shown you, can also be used very well. First you apply your acrylic paint, one or two darker shades and a black, and spread it on the canvas. Get to know the tool in the first layer of paint. Have a look at the pattern that is created. After the first layer of paint follows the next one. If the paint is still wet, mix soft transitions with the other paint, but also let the brush stroke stand and work. The other colours complement the two colours from the first application. With white and grey you bring calm and balance into the picture. I am renovating and the painting should fit into my more modern living style. I think you can use the abstract paintings to create a highlight in any interior design. It always fits. Beautiful effects can also be created by using water. In the book on page 64 you will find something about this topic.
Just look around the canal. There are many more abstract, like representational pictures as instructions. Also painting on aluminium foil or a rescue blanket can be found here. Let yourself be relaxed about the painting.

Never in my lifetime when I was getting into abstract art have I thought about using brushes. Smart, and perhaps the simple way of getting those gorgeous strokes. I always tried to get them to look like that lol.

Ergänzen möchte ich noch.... Früher hab ich zig Mal neu angefangen,wenn ich nicht in die Arbeit reingekommen bin. Heute....und eben auch durch die hier oft geschilderte Technik, kann ich mir innerlich Zeit lassen, und was eben das tolle ist, mich vom Auftrag der Farben hineinnehmen lassen. Die Farben laden mich ein. Das, ist diese Kommunikation ,die ich so schätze....und ehrlich,bei der ich um mich herum Mal alles vergessen kann. Ich glaub daraus erwächst auch diese Dankbarkeit und Freude beim anschauen deiner Videos....immer wieder ....DANKE

Hallo Petra, ich habe schon 1 Bild von Dir nachgemalt. Momentan bin ich an diesem Bild dran...beim ersten Bild habe ich 2 x mit Weiss überstreichen müssen..ich könnte Dir Stunden lang zuschauen und zuhören..heute hab ich mir eine 80 x 80 Leinwand gekauft und freue mich auf morgen..werde das Bild schwarz mit Rosatönen versuchen nachzumalen, nur statt schwarz nehme ich Brauntöne, passt besser in unser Wohnzimmer...ich freue mich immer auf neue Inspirationen von Dir..mach weiter so
