The Emperor himself spoke English without any accent. His mother was English, a daughter of Queen Victoria, and he was raised bilingual. To him the broad German accent of his son was most embarrassing.

The Kaiser who was still alive and living in Holland at this time, could speak great English, even better then his son. I don't think any sound records survive of him speaking English, but most observers tell of his strong command of English. The Kaiser was effectively a native English speaker. Supposedly he spoke with an upper class English accent. His mother and grandmother were English, and he spent much of his childhood between England and Germany.

English was his native tongue through his mother, British princess/German empress Victoria (while his father, Emperor Frederick III considered himself an Anglophone) and was a native speaker of English himself, evidence to this were letters of communication between him and his mother and other members of the English Royal Family. However, French was the spoken language of all European aristocracies and he too was an avid speaker of the language. As the Kaiser, he had to speak German to his people.

The Treaty of Versailles was more or less the reason for WW2. They punished Germany way to hard. Many people even say the plan was to destroy the country completely through the treaty of versailles. Taking away Germany’s military (from 4 mio to only 100 thousand) was a big humiliation for them. The country had one of the most advanced military and it was definitely one of the biggest prides of the nation. Another problem was that in the territories that got taken away from them there lived many ethnic Germans who didn’t want to belong to the neighboring countries. Also Germany could’ve never payed the allies with the money they demanded from Germany. The country itself was in a huge economic crises. It was only a matter of time before another war would break out. (And don’t forget that they lost all their colonies in Africa and Asia)
It was also not fair that Germany had to accept all the war guilt for a war they didn’t even start in the first place.

Germany chose to invade Belgium, France, Russia, chose to send - once - its navy against Britain; Belgium, France and Russia did not attack Germany, the British navy did not attack the German navy - the aggression was entirely one-way.

      2) Germans in general understand the world we live in is multicultural so they often learn the languages of trade and business: being often English and French. Continental Europeans tend to polyglots naturally due to living in close proximity. Germans often learn English in primary school so something like 60%-85% can speak English source depending as was expected if he had become Kaiser.

Well, yes, but language isn't passed on with the genes. He learned English, as his father did, who also spoke it as well as a native speaker.
Many people are unaware of the ties between the Hohenzollerns and the English, going all the way back to the 18th century. There was a lot of intermarriage between the Hohenzollerns and the Hannoverians. Before Germany was united, those ties formed a foundation for German and British friendship, and even alliance in common causes.

You can find old books at archive.org for free PDF download which were current at the time talking about Prince Henry's visit to America. They are an interesting travel back in time to see what Americans thought about Germany and Germans in the years before WW1.

No. His son, Louis Ferdinand, did, however. He spent time in Detroit, among other places, and became a friend of Henry Ford. Louis Ferdinand was interested in engineering. He also met Roosevelt. He distanced himself from the Nazis, and after the war, enjoyed a good reputation. There were many who wanted him to run for Bundespraesident. He declined, though, because he did not want to renounce his claim to a German throne.

The first one isn't true. The second one, depends on interpretation but given he had Empire envy and was desperate for Germany to expand you could argue yes it was. As for the last one, Germany may not have started it but they contributed the most to it so its reasonable that they pay for most of the damage.

Honestly i think Germany did ignite the powder keg that was 1914 Europe. However, its not like the whole situation was entirely Germanys fault. Its pretty likely that if Germany didnt support Austria-Hungary, the war wouldnt break out for some months or even years, but i dont think it changes a lot in the grand scheme of things.
Wilhelm II was an idiot though. I dont think he was a mad man, and i also think people generally overestimate how much real power he had in 1914. He did try to prevent the war in some ways, so its pretty safe to assume he wasnt a warmongering mad man, but his efforts were quite poor to say the least.
The treaty of Versailles wasnt justified. But thats a lot of hindsight and one can easily understand how especially the French felt after WW1.
Im glad the allies learnt and did most stuff right post 1945 with regards to Germany.

In my alternate History Kronprinz Wilhelm does come to America, with the Kriegsmarine on the shore and the Wehrmacht rolling their Panzers atop my soil. In 1947 he goes to America well after the conquest to sign the treaty of Washington where the victors (German Reich, Japanese Empire and Iberian Empire) meet the vanquished (USA and Mexico). The United States is divided similar to man in the High Castle with the Governor of North Dakota was appointed to oversee the assimilation into the Reich.

The Kaiser did not start WW1. Germany was merely an ally to the Austrians who were rightfully defending their right as a great power against Serbia. Germany was pulled into war by it's ally. Serbia fired the first shot, Germany and Austria were merely defending themselves. I do not recall the Kronprinz ever supporting Hitler, if he did, it was likely only to restore the monarchy in Germany, rather than antisemitism or any sort of ideological alignments. His relationship with Hitler was only fueled by a desire to return to power, he was even approached by those who formed the July 20th plot to overthrow Hitler, however he turned them done. To say he supported Hitler is a bit of an exaggeration.
