Meccano/Stokys 4-2-2 locomotive and tender

Based on the Meccano model plan of a Midland 4-2-2 loco, this model has been made mostly with Stokys parts.
Powered by a N20 6 V geared motor and controlled by an infrared controller.
The train runs on Märklin gauge 1 track.

Last year I was able to get hold of some Stokys parts. It is a great construction toy, still in production, but unfortunately, very expensive when you live outside Switzerland. 😟
