    Thanks. Consider presenting the sheet music, notating the features discussed. Perhaps show examples from different genres (jazz, rock, pop, etc.), different eras (40’, 50’s, 60’s, etc.) and in various forms (abba, etc.).

    Hey! I'm a student of Indian classical music and this really intrigues me.. I've been working on composing music for existing lyrics lately and I'll try and use these tips.. Maybe it'll end up as a pretty fusion of Western and Indian music :)
    Oh and I really liked your original "the knife" :)
