If I had to pick my Top3 comfort shows this would definitely be on it. I've also never been more happier to spent my money as I was when buying the comics, I'll treasure them and this show for the rest of my life
One of the great things about this show is that they cast the actors to reflect their own community.
I pre-gamed so hard for this season. I read all of Alice Oseman's novels, novellas and short stories, I rewatched seasons 1 and 2 in two days and I binged all your Heartstopper reactions straight through. And then I had to work late last night when it released so I didn't have time to watch them all yesterday but I ended up staying up into the night watching anyway. Absolutely hyped out of my gourd.

So many thoughts!
First, this is such a comfort show. I stan a friend group where everyone is emotionally intelligent and has good communication skills
Second, your comment on Kit Connor’s attractiveness is part of the reason why it's so weird to have people who are fully adults play high schoolers. The creators and audience both feel comfortable objectifying the adult actors without acknowledging that those actors are playing characters who are legally children. More people need to talk publicly about why this is problematic, so I'm glad that you brought up the subject.
Thirdly, Kit's acting is on fire this season! Some paragon of acting (I think Meryl Streep?) said that the best kind of acting is a character who wants to cry and is holding back the tears. Kit looks like he's holding back tears both happy (because he loves Charlie so much) and sad (because he's worried about Charlie so much) pretty much this entire season. I can't wait to see where his future acting career takes him because Kit Connor has talent!
Finally, I'm so glad to have a new shared show to watch with this channel! I first found you with the sadly now canceled Dead Boy Detectives, but luckily Netflix has provided more content about queer British teens for us to enjoy together.
