great content, man! if I may suggest a tutorial on the graphic representation of these families, like projection lines, maybe some handles and hinges. that one on the bi-fold gate was amazing too. thank you!

Hi, hope you all ok.. Im just wtaching this video, and i did all the steps.. One thing that is not working form me, it when i associate the HR and WR reporting parameters with the parameters of the frame, only the width let me associate. The HR dont let me associate it send me and error "A reporting parameter can be associated to element property only if its dimension references are all to host elements in the family".. I did the exercise twice, but the error persist. Can you help.. i will really appreciated..

When creating dimensions for the reporting parameters, make sure you place them onto the reference planes from the family template, not those you created yourself. To avoid placing dimensions on the wrong reference planes or model surfaces, you can first select the reference planes, type HI to isolate them, and then dimension. Let me know if you still encounter issues.

I encountered similar issue and it took me 2 weeks to figure it out. I found the cause of the error, when I set the dimension for HR, I ticked in the bottom part the “Reference Level” instead of the the “Reference Plane”. It should be in the “ Reference Plane”

Sorry, I just checked and I couldn't find that family anymore. It is not very hard, and maybe you can model it yourself? Let me know if you have any issues creating it.

when I upload the window in curtain wall family, it sits the reverse side ! I did the exact steps... :(

That's okay, you can go to the family, in a plan view, add a Control (Double Vertical I think), so you can flip your window in your project using your spacebar.

Aligh (AL), click on the reference plane, then move the cursor onto the endpoint of the reference line, press Tab until you see a little blue dot, then click, and lock.
