Lisa went a bit too far back out the ring and so she took ring damage for those wondering (thats why she still had armor even when she was knocked). Astel got the knock because he was the last person who damaged her

Sumire's team is really good at defending that place until last ring with 3 or more teams attacking them. Got the 3rd place is amazing and this round boost their morals and making good ranked after. 6th place in tournament which is the best of them from the entire tournament is amazing.
From defending WW2 trenches to Apex tower defense, PTSD does not change, no matter how long has passed.

I love seeing multiple perspectives. It makes moments like 6:39 where right after Deron uses her last Charge Rifle shot, Roberu points out how dangerous the Charge Rifle is so they have to re-position (but not really, since she ran out of ammo) & 12:30 when they start counting the seconds on Mad Maggie’s Q & seeing Astel shoot it right after really make it extra interesting.
-- Also, Mad Maggie’s face on Wraith’s body brings me so much joy for some reason, so thanks again for that.
It is amazing how long they can endure the torture from many teams in that tight spot

Fun thing to note with Astel and Sumire's twitter interaction (disclaimer, i might just be speaking out of my ass here but i had fun interpreting it this way)
On the fourth line, Astel responded saying "まぎで (Maggie de)" which implied, "I'm Maggie"
But it can be turned into somewhat of a pun as it can also be indirectly read as "まじで (Ma ji de)"
This becomes a pun because what he said could meant "まぎで (Mag-gi de) ごめんね (Gomenne)" "I'm really sorry" while using the hiragana characters for Maggie's name. Just found that a bit clever and interesting.
Isnt that already well known because their team name is maggie de maggie?

This was really funny, I was watching Astel's stream and during this part saw that people was saying it's Roberu's team on the tower so I swapped for a while to look at Roberu's POV and all I heard were the screams lmao
I watch it from Roberu pov and it is funny and interesting to watch it lol.. kinda want to curse that mad maggie lol but it's funny but we are just 'please stay alive a bit longer' and then they get top 3.. they did great in being on defense!!
To me, this is the best dramatic, hilarious and mind breaking (to them ofc) moment for this tournament.
The amazing thing is they managed to get 2 kill points with a lot of team bullied them there and got the 3rd position from that hell is miracle.

I still cannot believe they lost that round. They got a very good position than Kuzuha's team yet still lost. Can anyone explain to me how they actually lost it ? I watched from Astel's POV but still couldn't figure out where they did wrong ...
Crypto EMP and Arcstar make other 2 split bit far from him, and his pos infront make enemy aggro focus on him 1st, and during EMP exploded naraka team can took bottom hill as cover and peek astel team on open space,,,
The enemy had deathboxes near them so they were able to armor swap quickly when Astel damaged them
@@tsukinosereiss yeah, thats why when they re-evaluate their position after the match mondo and astel knows they should be a bit lower and not keeping the hi-ground.
What happen if they put gas in the front? Are they still can put gas in the front? (Idk how many gas caustic can put)
@@hydraulicpress439 i think still same cz the EMP clear all gas can, maybe if they throw gas ult on bottom hill but again hard make decisions since the ring quite wide for gas ult,,, best possible is zoning out enemy team from taking hill or just don't let the EMP exploded

they could have blocked pylon from dmg of wingman earlier + blocked valk tacticals or smtg. there wasn't much use for the bubble in that situation since no one wanted to be the one riding up to the tower and getting shot by everyone else, so they shld have used it to block more dmg
The fences were already doing good job in shielding them tbh, the dome wasn't really needed.
Though if Gib wasn't down they probably can last a while longer at the top with a dome in the final ring.

As much as they did well in holding that tower, it was a really bad idea to set up there, and hold off so early. A huge part of them succeeding was luck and hesitation from a lot of teams.
I think the best way that they could've handled that was rotating off the opposite side where Deron's team was when they revived Sumire below the tower. They received very little attacks from that side, and could've saved more resources doing that. But hey, if it works, then it works.
To add, I think Astel's team could've cleared that tower very easy. They still have some nades, Caustic ult, Maggie drill, and a clear path to go to and fro the tower. But hey, no one wants to take any sort of risks in tournaments/scrims so I don't blame them
@@KeiKatsuuu Tbf since Roberu's team are of no immediate danger, it's better to keep an eye on the ground. Astel (or other teams) can take the tower but that also means taking over all the bombardments as well.
While it is a hotspot, it's also the best place to camp (even with that low resources they still get 2 kills as proof) so all teams want that tower.
Ah yes, Vsaikyou 4 is all about Astel being the trash of the trash 🤣

pardon my ignorance but like, I don't really get why the tourney meta in jp is a lot of crypto, valk, wattson, caustic/gibs. Their pacing feels so slow compared to the higher paced stuff in the west and SEA like wraith/bloodhound/ash kind. Like the ability to take a position quickly and overrun defensive comps like these shld be highly prized no?
Prob due to JP slow and defensive playstyle. We'll see how APAC N (JP and KR) face against EU, NA and APAC S in the upcoming LAN tourney. According to their scrim, APAC N is not doing all that well
Tournament pace is always slow and apac tourney is even slower
I don't know much about how tourney rules are made but imo having your own place to land and loot and playing defensive and camping makes the fights exciting due to higher possibility of 3rd or more parties joining in on the fight when the ring is much smaller. I see it as a organized chaotic entertainment and I love it 😂
Well Meta, when most of team move inside ring early, made hard for team that move along with ring (killing move), killing move strat can work if they meet other team that do same strat, from that can upgrade armor & resources,,,
Especially this tournament first 3 game they got kill cap, made killing move strat become high risk low return strat, except for game 4 and 5
