    I am so happy I live far very far up north here in Sweden. A long way from the chaos in the big city and all the shit going on all over the country. Just nature and tranquility up here. Yes my internet sucks but I happily trade it for endless nature and freedom. Northern lights in the sky and untouched snow over deep forests while the raindeers roam free.
    You can keep your nightclubs and shopping malls I'm staying here. Where my family has always lived.

      god I would pay to live like that. I hate being around arrogant, obnoxious people, who have no since of heart for one another. I believe in peace and love for each other. but in today's society that just doesn't exist because certain people just wont allow it. so i'll take the next best thing. a log cabin, wilderness all around me, and to be perfectly honest, I wouldn't even care for internet. all i need is those who i love all around me. And maybe having Viking88 as a neighbor. lol

      I live about 9 hours from any "big" city. There is nothing but nature where I live. Forests,lakes,mountains and rivers.
      No social offices,no immigration plans what so ever. The north is the north. It's untamed country and no it will not be overrun by immigrants.
      99% of Swedens immigrants live in the cities.
      Last time a bus load of them went even close too the outskirts off the major towns the immigrants went on hunger strike.
      They don't want to live here.
      There is no free apartments or living.
      You have to hunt. And use a snowmobile all winter. No plowed roads. You either work as a lumberjack or a hunter.Or a raindeer keeper. Maybe a fisherman.
      This is not what they are here for.
      This kind of news comes all the time. And nothing happens. They try and the immigrants refuse.
      Last time was early 2006. When 600 immigrants were to live near Kiruna.
      They refused yet again. Moved them to Stockholm.
      And I live so much further north then Kiruna.
      But if the worst would happen even so unlikely I will just drive over the border to Norway. Or Finland. Couple of hours either way.

      Their is nothing I can do about the south.
      It's not my problem. It's concrete jungles all over. Nothing to save in my opinion.
      And the north of Sweden has always been different. Different rules,different ways of living and different politics.
      And I live so close to the border of two other countries ( Norway and Finland ) that it's like living in three places at once. I spend as much time in both of them as a do in Sweden.
      All three makes a pretty big place.
      Even if i choose not to ignore them "taking" over the country what can I do? Kill them?
      Immigrants in the cities can live almost as they did in their own country.
      Here in the north you must adapt. Or you will die. Nature is a bitch. And I love her. That will not change even if let's say Stockholm becomes a muslim town ore something.
      The north is the north.
      I'm not in favor of mass immigration. Don't take me wrong, I hate it but the swedes in the south will have to say no them self or suffer alone.
      Us northern folks are hard people. Their is a shotgun in every cabin. And most likely a hunting rifle. The south knows this. That's why we stand free from them. We have been different people since the viking era.
      That's something foreign people don't understand.

    The beauty of Scandinavian / Viking folk songs is that they never sang in words.
    Words were personal and music was also personal.

    I am so happy to live up far north in sweden. Little bit above Pajala exactly. Northern lights in the sky,clean air,very few people and magnificent nature. Up here we live free and in peace with nature unlike most other places on earth these days.I open my window and instead of concrete i see endless nature with mountains and rivers with water so clean i can drink it. I rather die then live in any other place.

    I came here for Nordic folk - i think it's just human nature to look around and hence my sight migrated to the comments section from the video up there - so contrasting here - I'm from India and I really get inspired by the folk music of the north, in fact all of folk is intertwined somewhere - I appreciate the defence of native lands by people like Viking88 - People have to defend their land and culture, if you do not, nobody will.. How to do it is subjective, it depends on what your ancestors have taught you.
    On the contrary, I do not know why people from my country go away leaving the blessed land of India that the whole world was looking for 600 years ago. I do not know why so many of us go there feeling our land has nothing left - maybe greed, maybe need - whatever it is, why lose self-respect? Why go there and be an outsider where people will never let you be culturally active? What's the basis of human life without culture?
    I'm happy for close friends and relatives who migrated to foreign lands and changed their fortunes financially. But, It hurts when people of your land leave thinking that some other land has gold or gold-dust.. thinking that something can be gained instead of living to the fullest in the land of your birth and relishing the ethos of one's own land built by our ancestors and our gods.
    I hate immigration as well - I do not like it if somebody else comes and dirties my land and pours filth all over - we too have had enough with all sorts of East India Companies ruining our resources, culture, tradition and belief systems.
    We too are tired of some baptized man calling us pagans, of hearing baseless invasion theories, of school teachers and parents encouraging migration and praising technocrats and artists from other lands when we have enough inspiration within - enough inspiration for the whole world to come to us. Enough generosity to welcome all the whites and mughals, to let them rule us and loot us.
    Go on defend your land - if you do not nobody certainly will but, look up to your ancestors for a method that justifies humanity.
    Commenting is a human tendency, commenting on wanderlust and migration becomes human right, commenting on the motherland becomes human bliss - Lots of love to the north from the land where everything began - Bhaarat (India)

      I support your message my 'pagan' brother. It is about time people start to appreciate and respect their biological identity and spiritual tradition again. Here in Europe we have had christianity attempt to wipe out our ancient tradition (and people) too and i am sad these judeo-christian megalomaniacs even strived for complete global dominance, slavery and destruction of all beautiful native cultures around the world.
      Something is stirring in the deep unconscious realms however. People cannot stand the nullification of their own racial nature forever and it is bound to awaken inevitably.

      Timothy, yeah and they got slaughtered also by romans, greeks, muslims, frenchs, germans, "russians" (from the steppe), british, even own spanishes in a civil war. C'mon, it's not that hard. If you want to form part of a culture, you are free, aren't you? So let the people be free too, ffs... You know, if I would have to hate to all that people, I would be racist, xenophobic... well, like all the people that prevents the world from advancing...
      Also, I said " Hail *Ásatrú* ", you know? Ásatrú aren't "these people". So, stop talking because you don't know anything about Ásatrú, as I can see... But anyway, these people were fighting like all the civilizations in that times, and I don't have anything to do with them. Your ancestors also killed a lot of families, I'm pretty sure, like everyone here. Man has been at war since he appeared in this world. But I repeat, Ásatrú is not before, is now. And as I said, I'm proud of saying _hail Ásatrú_ .
      Get more informed before talk, read what Ásatrú means and then come back...

      Sorry i need to correct you on your mistake The Right is typically more tending toward national pride which often spills over into racism. The Left is about forging unity among the masses of people. It is nigh on impossible to get a racist on The Left. So let me correct you:
      *I'm ignoring the racist comments That are definitely not situated on The Left and most certainly from The Right!
      Just listen to the beautiful music and enjoy the spiritual heart of the norse peoples!
      Although I wouldn't say he was being racist i would say he is saying that we now live in a global community and the people commenting on this video should realize this and keep their narrow minded bigotry to themselves. Anyway that's just my thoughts on the subject.
      Footnote: Norse has a capital letter.

      Leftists are usually anti-Norse and like to make racist remarks about the same OR support racism against Norse.
      so in many ways leftists despite their attempts at antiracism, there are more racists on the left but as I said I do not give a shit WHERE it comes from if they show disrespect towards Norse they are racists plain and simple.
      Being true Norse myself I do not condone anyone using our heritage towards any political idiocy either left or right!
      PS thanks I missed the spelling.

    • @jonnyhames7013
      @jonnyhames7013 10 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I have no Nordic heritage. However I will never understand how one man can rob another man of his humanity because of his place of birth. Are we not the same under the skin? I have a heart like you yours that pumps blood and oxygen. I have my insecurities just like you. So to me it seems like insanity to even consider judging anyone but equal to yourself.
      i would like to apologize for my uneducated brothers who may have judged you because of you race. You see i am not going dodge the issue that Nordic people are proud of their "pure blood". This makes people like me be stigmatized by them ( being from Africa). This means that my fellow immigrants begin to resent the local population because of the way they have been treated. However this is a wrong way to behave because often people who think a similar way to i do, who are Nordic will hate them. So I just have to judge everyone as i find them to avoid this.

    • @Fenris77
      @Fenris77 10 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Jonny Hames
      It is our culture we are proud of.
      Imigrants sometimes hate us because we refuse to bow down to them.
      I don't really care where someone is from as long as they show proper respect the same as I would if I came to their countries!
      We Norse never judges anyone unless they judge us wrongly which happens in many cases (our food is no good, our religion is no good etc etc) how do you think it feels when we take in people into our nations and we are "thanked" in this manner?

    • @jonnyhames7013
      @jonnyhames7013 10 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      SHADOWWOLF77
      Firstly, I have to say there is absolutely no issue with being proud of your culture, your ways of life and your traditions. That is where you came from, It makes you who you are. However it is, in my opinion at the very least, a grave error to believe that you are superior to another man because of your culture.
      Secondly, an immigrant that insults your culture is a stupid immigrant. People vote with their feet as to which are the best countries to live in. If a country is bad then they will leave to a good country. Hence you can assess that your country, in their belief is better than their source country otherwise their moving would be pointless. This means that they want to reap the rewards of your culture so they are in no position to complain about your culture.
      To finish off , I would like to say if an immigrant complains about the culture within Scandinavia it is most likely because something has distorted his/her view on your culture. For instance my best friend cannot stand Americans or anything to do with them because he was tormented by a group of racist individuals when he lived there. They would do a great number of grotesque things to make his life miserable. In other words this "thanking" as you put it causes a divide between masses of people which is often thought of as a "cultural divide". However it is really just layer on layer of events that caused other events which separated two sets of people. If peoples views weren't distorted then we could all co-exist happily.
      Footnote: Thanks for this I am quite enjoying talking to someone who can back up their points intelligently.

    Look I'm very tired of all the racist and hateful comments coming from all sides of whatever argument you have. If you can't accept the violent, bloody history of your culture you need to do some serious soul searching. As an American of European descent I am well aware of the wrongdoings committed by my ancestors. I had family fight for both the Americans and the Nazis during the second great war. Further back than that most of my early American ancestors took part in several raids against native tribes. Most were kidnapped and murdered in retaliation for their participation in several, brutal raids against their villages. My great, great, great, grandfather was abducted as a child and kept a slave by a Cherokee chief until he was freed by Federal troops after more than 12 years in captivity. I am not responsible for anything my ancestors did. Not one ethnic group on this planet is innocent. So stop the blame and hate. Accept your people's past and learn from it for the betterment of humankind. Is that too much to ask?

    The biggest shame of Nordics opening up and accepting immigrants is how much immigrants have changed it (especially Muslims, who shamelessly single-mindedly push on everyone a middle eastern early medieval country Quran was written in). Sure some people were like me, just wanting to live a Nordic life. But since it was changed so much, there was no Nordic life to see. I was so disappointed I cancelled my plans there and returned home, saddened my life will never be as I planned it. Did tolerance for ALL invite the worst the fastest as everyone else blocked them by having standards?

    • @omega1231
      @omega1231 10 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      the nordic lifestyle is still alive and well it's just hidden because we can't be loud about it, it's subtle but it's there; gender equality, sexual freedom, Danish drinking culture, even odinism (ancient Nordic belief) still exists to this day. An example of the gender equality in Denmark: an American blogger/journalist type person visited Denmark some few years ago and wrote an artical about Danish women, it was an artical for American men about i guess how it is being married to/dating a Danish women and one of his, in lack of better words, "demands" were that she should be at home making dinner for her husband if he demanded it. Most Danes, if not all, laughed or frowned at this notion. The modern man in Denmark helps with cooking, cleaning, raising the kids, grocery shopping etc. sadly there is still some gender inequality when it comes to the work place but i thinks it's a pretty big leap forward considering we have suffered from christianity for so long

      "The modern man in Denmark helps with cooking, cleaning, raising the kids, grocery shopping etc. sadly there is still some gender inequality when it comes to the work place but i thinks it's a pretty big leap forward considering we have suffered from christianity for so long" That's your problem right there, letting women grow fuzzy nuts and snipping the balls off of men, nice thinking Nordy. Christianity didn't harm you, you harmed yourself.

      All the pathetic and hypocrite left wingers need to cry again when European culture is being promoted. It is the leftwing who is so astoundingly hypocrite to claim to be anti-racist but in reality is racist against the European race who do nothing more but living and protecting their own tradition and race. Which is completely in line with the human rights and the natural law of self preservation.
      Sorry to wake you up but the vikings definitely were not pathetic weaklings. They did not bow down to foreign invasion or occupation as modern suicidal leftwing does. They exactly attacked and sacked christian monasteries since this were the centers where the invading christians sprouted from with their alien and exotic desert-religion.

    • @fredrikstromberg4317
      @fredrikstromberg4317 10 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      I don't like living in a lie, that's why I am a nationalist. Liars and deceivers are everywhere and they spread lies about everything to make chaos about everything. Then, they take control of what you fought for, something they profited on. There must be change in almost all countries in Europa and many parts of the world, otherwise it is going to collapse. Media is talking about a third world war. This war, if it will "break out", will be a war of slaughter and destruction and nothing else. In WW1 there was at least something decent they could fight for and in WW2 it was a war for freedom, which was lost. They don't have any leaders who fight for anything openly, only hidden thoughts and agendas. The people no longer control their countries. The people who control our countries now are nothing more than just trash. They are people who just cares about money, but why is this? Is this really what it's all about? Money?? I don't think so. You can find the truth yourself but don't be deceived and lied to. We need the truth to live free and happy. Those two words have probably been used the most since the second world war up to now and they have never been something free nor happy. If we want to succeed in this life then we must fight for the truth and take control of what we have left, so we can fight for it..
      It all might look like a good place to live in these days but the truth is that it's just preparations for a total disaster.
      We need peace now
