Sutan seems to have a performer's personality. Quite shy when she isn't on stage but big when she is. The somen river looked like a lot of fun as well as good eating.

It looks like Sutan was still shy with Hiracchi (someone she doesn't know as well) being there. My daughter was also shy like this when we had friends she knows less at our house. She barely talks when the friends are there and then when the friends leave, she starts talking again. 😅
She learns from you both. I love seeing her sitting on the ground, in between you both. That is where she is safe and loved. I also love seeing her interact with her new friend. Lol. Such a fun event.

It's good to see Sutan talking with other people. She seems oddly shy compared to how she is on camera. She just needs to bring what she does on camera out with other people.
She can't be on 'Sutan the comedienne' mode all the time. That's not realistic. And it's normal to be shy around people you don't know, especially for children.
@@pagethreemodel not really. kids are really friendly in their home environment where they feel safe. it's usually outdoors where they get shy. sutan is painfully unsocialized due to pandemic like most pandemic babies. it will effect her later of not rectified now. japan work culture requires politeness but friendliness to everyone not shyness and quietness.

Hi! I´ve just started seeing your videos and I have gotten totally addicted. In a good way! I spend a lot of time at home at the moment because I just became a mother to a wonderful little daughter. Seeing the relationship that you have with yours has brought tears to my eyes. I know and have understood that it is hard work but what don´t we do for our daughters right? It is a strange feeling becoming a parent with all eyes on you and everybody giving advice where you do not ask for it. I just want to tell you that I appreciate your videos a lot and I´m watching from my home country Sweden so, a long way from you in other words. Moe, what a wonderful summer treat! I bet Sutan was dreaming of strawberry ice cream flowing down the shutes that night! Nice to meet Hirrachi. Unfortunately I never had children, but as a child in the 60's and 70's, our summer fun was going to my grandfather's cottage on the lake, eating corn on the cob and watermelon, and swimming with my cousins. Then the adults would start singing and we little ones would soon be napping on quilts in the shade. 💖
Sutan is so cute. The interaction between Sutan and HIracchi is also cute. I've never tried to eat noddle that way. Also, I don't know that parents in Japan also said similar things like if you're screaming at dusk then the demon will awake. Here, parents said that if you go out at dusk, the demon will take you away.
I think I have watched my friends doing similar to this, but in a round container in the middle of the table...not sure if it's the same exact thing. I love how curious your daughter is when you are showing how to catch the noodles 🙂 I also love how you and your husband are so caring....wonderful videos. Hope everyone is enjoy the weekend
I am sure this is a community festival where a lot of kids participate in catching the noodles and you created the whole set up only for Sutan. I really appreciate your thoughtful efforts in imparting the values and tradition to your little daughter. Today she might just enjoy it as a game but when she grows up she'll be loving you more
Here in the UK our main summer tradition used to be trying to barbecue while avoiding the rain!!! Not this year cos it's a scorcher. Now our main activity seems to be complaining about the heat😁
Many summer traditions seem to fade away as and when you grow up. I'm glad Japanese traditions are there. Moto-san and his friend have such a calm vibe....even I would have sat and enjoyed my juice as a introverted kid. Go and play was so hard...we don't learn how to initiate until we come to a certain age. But I think Sutan will be a popular one soon. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Thank you for this refreshing video ❤️
In the summer my grandma cooked lots of fried shrimps! And more in general all our favourite dishes... you just had to say "granny what about feied shrimps/apple cake/whatever?" The answer was always "Great idea! Let's do it for dinner!"

During the summer our dad would sometimes make watermelon smoothies but growing up we couldn’t do much summer traditions XD. I’m glad you and Moto-san could share a childhood experience with Sutan and you all’s friend is very talented, I wanna try the flowing noodles (almost called them swimming noodles XD).
