- Welcome to my channel Wyld Houseplants. My name is Alexis , I'm a houseplant enthusiast and professional houseplant technician and consultant.
This video is a full houseplant tour of 150+ plants in my North London home. Houseplants play a huge role in the decor of my home and I have plants in every room, apart from the kids rooms.

Thanks for watching 🙂
Such elegant styling, grouping without cramming. Love the colorful pots mixed with basic white. I am in awe of plants that "carry on" despite less than optimum light, aren't you? Thank you for sharing your space with us.
Thank you for your lovely comment 😊 I know, plants are amazing aren't they so resilient! Glad you enjoyed the tour 💚
Beautiful plants tour! Thank you for letting us join along!
Thank you so much 💚
Yay - another planty channel! What a lovely home you have, and a gorgeous collection! FYI, my Whalefin is exactly like yours: original fat leaf, second sad leaf and third skinny leaf (and it gets good light - the struggle is real!) Love Bill, too - what a cutie! Thanks for sharing and looking forward to more 👏🏽🪴👏🏽💚🐶
Thank you so much 😊 so funny about the whalefin isn't it, mine hasn't been getting the best light but even when it did it didn't do a lot! Bill says hi and he's looking forward to his next cameo 💚🐾
Thank you. I have struggled with how my Pilea Peperomioides looked like a tree and no other creator I've been watched has said the leave pups in the pot. Simply brilliant!
Aw glad you found a useful tip, it's a game changer for creating a full looking Pilea. Thanks for watching 💚
Really enjoyed your first video, good luck with your channel ❤
Thank you for watching 💚
Congrats on your first video! You have a beautiful collection of plants. I love that you have them spaced out throughout many different rooms. I always feel every room needs at least a few plants 😂
Thank you so much 💚 Yes I agree, I love to see green in every room 😊
Hi there, new sub here, love all ur plants especially ur albo so pretty. If u fill the pole to the top with more moss u can keep the pole moist with an upside down water bottle with holes in the lid. As long as it’s got contact with the moss it will gradually drip out. It’s been a game changer for me x
Thanks for watching 💚 yes, I've seen that technique, I think I need stronger wire for my poles as they don't support the bottles very well, or maybe smaller bottles ☺️👍🏼
You have beautiful plants, great job with your tour!!
Thank you so much 💚
This is my favorite house plant video to watch. I absolutely love the common jade pothos and you have several. They can be hard to find.
Thank you so much, I love the Jade too 💚
Your home plants your decoration everything looks so calm.Good luck❤
Thank you so much 😊
Ah this is such a therapeutic watch, and I picked up so many useful tips too, thank you!!!

Very enjoyable beautiful houseplant tour. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much for watching 💚
I love oxalis so much! I love that they wake up and say good morning everyday ☺️
I know, such a beautiful plant, I can't wait to see how big it gets over the spring and summer 💚
I love anything tropical so that was a fun tour, thank you for doing this! Loved that black Begonia, cute size. And hello from California!!
Hello California 💚 thanks for watching. That Begonia is becoming a firm favourite 😊
Your spider plant is cute it would be cute in a “face pot”. Glad to have found a new planty channel! We need to stick together. 🎉
Ooh yes totally! I need to find myself a good face pot 😊 Thanks for watching 💚
Günaydın bitkilerinize evinize temizliğinize bayıldım çok çok çok beğendim tebrikler 💜👏👏👏💐🌻🍀
Thank you so much 💚
Excellent job. 🙏 john
Thanks for watching John 😊
Alexis, 🏵🏵🌿🌿I am from Chicago, Illinois area, and I so enjoyed your plant tour. You truly have a GREEN thumb. ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!!! Do you have any Syngoniums? Maybe l missed those.
Thank you so much for your kind words ☺️💚 I actually don't own any Syngonium...it's one of the few genus I just don't get very excited about 😬😬 sorry if you're a fan of them 😀
I'm really enjoying your video so far❤
I've been getting tired of the endless planty videos on Anthurium crosses😂
Thank you! Yeah I like to mix it up and enjoy lots of different types of plants 💚
I might be wrong.. but I think the beautiful clari looking anthurium is giving you 2 flowers instead of leaves. Love it one of my favs
Yes, you're right! I meant inflorescence 🫣, I corrected with text on the screen. I cut them off now and she's given me a new leaf 💚
Lovely tour! May I suggest wrapping your moss pole in cling film so that it stays moist for longer? It might be of help ❤
Thank you. Yes, good idea. I've done that when I went on holiday, maybe I should just keep it on all the time 😊
💚
Thanks for watching 💚
Hey, on the anthurium crystal hybrid i think those are not new leaves, those are flowers
Yes you are right 😊 I corrected myself with text on the screen when I edited 💚
Any tips for the Micholitziana?? I always end up killing mine…
Mine is in Lechuza Pon, in fact all my Alocasia are in semi-hydro as they love it! I also keep it under a grow light. I also support the stems with support stakes because the stems start to droop as the leaves get bigger and heavier. Hope that helps 💚
New sub. Any Hoyas or plans for Hoya besides the Linearis ?
I have the Bella and the Crimson Princess too but yes not as many as other plant enthusiasts for sure. Which is your favourite Hoya/ which do you recommend? 💚
@@wyldhouseplants I like the hanging basket type Hoya like the polynuera, Bella, Cumingiana etc but also the silver small leaf Hoya like the lacunosa silver mint which recently got and after a few days the cutting melted so not sure what happened with that 😢. I also like the dinosaur type Hoya. A variety. I love most of them. Trying to research and get easier starter friendly Hoya for now
Hi Alexis! I have several house plants too but not quite as many as you do. I do have a question for you, would you happen to know why Pathos sometimes get black spots on the leaves? Thanks for the plant tour.
Hi, thanks for watching 😊 The black spots could be caused by a few things but normally it's a watering issue - it might be worth checking your roots and making sure the soil is not too dense and the soil gets to dry out around 80% in between watering. If new growth is coming in black then worth checking for thrips 💚
So it could be an over watering issue?
I will have to Google thrips.. I don't know anything about those. I have a couple of very large fiddle leaf figs, which I covet, so I am keeping my pathos away from them.
It's difficult to diagnose without seeing but yes it could be over watering. I water mine every 10-14 days so always worth checking the soil moisture before you water 💚
Thanks for the help!! It's probably over watering.. I water my plants every 7 days. I believe that the new pots I put them in are causing the soil to stay wet for a long period of time. But it seemed like if I waited longer then they looked parched..
How does this video start with the cutest doggo ever and he isn’t introduced to us 😂 shame (I’m kidding I love the plants but I also love dogs)
Aw, he does make a cameo at 18.32 mins. His name is Bill, or Silly Billy 😊
@@wyldhouseplantsthank, I did get to that point and I was hoping for it the whole time, I couldn't focus on your beautiful plants 😂 but I was also commenting for the algorithm, I hope it helped ❤
Hello my name is kylie im new to ur channel ❤ love ur albo would u be in for a trade im in the USA if not thats ok im looking for a albo cutting 😊❤
Hi Kylie, I'm not planning to chop her I'm afraid as she's doing so well. Also I'm not sure how well the cutting would travel to the US from the UK 😬 💚
@@wyldhouseplants oh yea that true that's a pretty far way from me to u 😔
