What is the best rendering software to use with the Meta Quest 3? We want out VR models to look more realistic then just using Sketchup Viewer. Thanks!
Is there any way to anchor the model to an actual space and use the Quest 3's Pass through mode for an AR walkthrough? So being able to see a model in 3d existing in the actual room it's going to be placed in, but through the headset instead of the tablet/phone?
Is it possible to take clients on a virtual tour remotely? That is, can a client with Oculus 2 at a different location join me while I'm in the model via VR at my location?
I can currently use the SketchUp Viewer on my smartphone (immersive mode) and see a 3D model locked onto the real world reference point - effectively AR. The Meta Quest 3 has forward facing cameras for AR. Cannot the SketchUp Viewer for Mete also present a model in AR?
I'll investigate exporting my SketchUp geometry to Twinmotion and exporting as a "Presentation" and see if that can be viewed in AR on the Meta Quest 3.
Let me first say that I LOVE LOVE your channel. But I’m going to be brutal here. This video made me sick. Literally! I had to stop it about a two minutes in. You are moving your head around so much I could not follow and was getting sick to my stomach. There has to be a better way of betting a first person view to stream. Any way to redu this? I really wanted to view the content.
Agreed, especially the intro, where the Meta-view was not related to what you were telling... I've used several VR-viewers myself, so I know that actually using the thing is a lot less nauseating than watching along with someone who's using it. Provided the device has a decent framerate. It would be nice for someone viewing along, to have a different way of seeing what the user is viewing... but I wouldn't know how exactly.

I have used it for two large projects with clients. Wish there was better mapping of textures importing the Revit model into SketchUp Studio.

As a hobbyist, is this compatible with SketchUp Free (online version)?
is this only available in Meta quest? I use htc Vive
Very good presentation thank you. Can you tell me if there is a way to display the DWG base visible in SketchUp but invisible in the viewer. thx
Hi Aaron, I'm surprised that you don't explain how to install this. Is this the Sketchup Viewer app? Or is there a plugin?
Looks like its a meta quest app
I’m with you, man. Moreover he doesn’t even reply to any question.
If I am sharing with a client do I have to give them my trimble connect login or is there another way for them to open the model on their own meta Q
Como puedo cargar mis modelos de sketchup para verlos en la aplicacion de Meta?
找到解决方案了吗?我以为这个困惑不知道放meta哪个文件夹

As of now, SU Viewer for Meta is VR. Maybe in the future...

Is there a possibility to turn on shadows?
is there any pcvr su viewer or only for meta?
Is there no augmented reality option for my model to appear in my room?

Yep, me too! please remember that what you see in vr does not translate the same in a standard video. I had to skip a lot on your video 🤢
Meh, more escapism from reality. I'll stay in the real world. :)
