@@love_to_learn_drums I’ve been drumming for 30 years but never too experienced to learn something new! I think reinforcing the “basics” is very important; sharpening the saw if you will. Maybe covering rudiments at different difficulty levels? Not gonna tell you what to do but that would be cool to see.

Just learning this...now need to get it as punchy and clean as you play it. The pattern has a nice 'round' feel to it that I find more on triplet stickings - feels very satisfying to play. Cheers!

If you flip the last two notes around, i.e. LR instead of RL at the end, this is basically a six-stroke-roll (R LL RR L R) with the second double down on the kick. Also, doing that allows you to repeat the pattern, just like you would a six-stroke-roll.

Y’all try RLLKKL R as well. If you run it multiple times it leads back into the same sticking. Same idea as 6 stroke rolls with just the hands. RLLRRL R
