    I had the same problem with setting up the unsteady simulation, just like at 1:25:35. So the most helpful advice from this video, for me, was changing rotating zone back to Frame motion (1:26:30). And then the text command mrf-to-sliding-mesh worked! Thank you my saviour.

    This honestly is one of the best videos out there on this topic. Thanks a ton.

    I am simulating a case very similar to the one in the video. It was so useful for me, thank you for sharing.
    Everything is fine, however, I get pulsation results in head. Although the mean value of head pump seems to be reasonable (about 19m), at some points it is positive, and at some others is negative!!
    Is it a regular behaviour of software or did I make a mistake at a point?
    Could you tell me what are the possible issues in my setup?
    I have another question. Why didn't you set mass flowrate-outlet for the MRF case? (while you did it in sliding mesh)

    Hello Sofen, nice to meet you. I have seen your video and I have special interest to know how I should set the boundary conditions for a centrifugal fan simulation. I am working with interfaces between the impeller and casing but I can't reach the convergence of mass in the problem. Could you provide me some comments or discuss together about how I could to set the boundary conditions properly ?

    Hello SIr, how can I use prism layer 'zone specific' not a 'scoped', because it has an additional option of grwing prism in exponential manner.?

    Hi @sofenkumarjena,
    You told that max timestep is set to rotation of 15-20 degree for pump. Is it acceptable for propeller and fan?

    • @muhammedcetintas6077
      @muhammedcetintas6077 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Because propeller blade is changed from 2 to 4. And Fan is nearly same with pumps

    Hi Sofen,
    My Ansys Fluent setup has an issue creating a sliding internal face (video time 1:38:13), and I have tried this multiple times. Every time that new interference doesn’t show in the structure tree. Although, if I move forward, initialize and run the calculation, it doesn’t show me the mass flow rate against time. I know it is not your problem. However, would you mind having a look at my setup?
    I Won’t mind sharing my fluent set up with you. I would much appreciate to hear back from you.
    Kind regards,
    Gurwinder

    Hello sir, one problem i am facing similar in video is that reverse flow. How to solve it. And how can we capture transient condition of impeller rotating

    also after meshing auto, the quality measure shows orthogonal quality, what should do I do for correcting that,

    Hello sir
    I have seen your video on how to write UDF. I am working on simulation of refrigerant in condenser which is a phase change process. The built-in lee model for evaporation-condensation is not working properly. I have seen some research paper where they suggest of writing our own mass transfer code. Can I get your email address where I can discuss the problem.
    Thank you

    if i want to give clock wise rotation of rotor in "z" direction then what should i give in "rotational axis direction" - (0 0 -1) or (0 0 1)

      1 counter clockwise and -1 clockwise

    why do not you define mesh interface?

    • @SofenKumarJena
      @SofenKumarJena  ปีที่แล้ว

      You do not need to provide mesh interface explicitly. After preparing the conformal mesh for both static and moving zone import them to fluent, then go to TUI command and segregate the moving part, it will automatically form an interface and the mesh will be nonconfirmal with time. Hope this answer your queries 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
