Extended, Advanced, and RogueTech are all different beasts. Extended is closest to the base game in terms of mechanics, but expands the map, mechs and weapons, and adds a timeline... Advanced adds an even more expanded mechlab and many more mechanics in combat. RogueTech... I wouldn't necessarily say it's bigger than the other two per se... way more chaotic, for sure. Also harder, by a lot! As the name suggests, it's closer to a RogueLike in difficulty... and way more random. As for me. I like the level of complexity that Extended has... but really, the biggest reason is I'm worried that if I try out either BTA again, or RT... I might bork my installation of BEx and not be able to continue this current playthrough.
How come you don't try out RogueTech over extended? I play Roguetech because I heard it's the biggest of the mods for battletech.

@@Calmputer I see. I recommend RT after this playthrough then, it's a real monster of a game that eats a huge amount of RAM lol
