you will find guards near Dudhsagar who will ask for money in the name of fine please do jot pay anything.
even we were stopped by the guards there and they made us wait there for 15 mins as we didn't pay them, after some time they left us.

There is no official stop at Dudhsagar but train stops in between castle to kulem sometimes.

There is no official stop in sonalium,,, but there r chances some time it may stop near dudhsagar stop or sonalium stop

Bro, couple of questions. 1. When did you guys travel? 2. From trekking from castle rock did any guards charged you for walking on tracks? 3. Is there any place to keep luggage in castle rock? 4. Last time when i visited there was an evening train from dudhsagar which drops back to castle rock, does it stop at dudhsagar even now?
Hi bro hope ur doing good😍
1. We visited last year July
2.Guards will catch u near dudhsagar will ask for fine from 500 rs to 1k but u can manage by 100 or 200 per person.
3. No bro there is no place to keep ur luggage
4.if ur going from bangalore u will have daily train at 3:30 afternoon where ull reach castle Rock in d morning 2 or 3 u can start ur trek by 4 or 5 n will reach falls at 9 or 10 by even 5 ull reach kulem and finish ur trek
Please note if ur travelling from bangalore take tickets till kulem even if u get down at castle Rock...

Now it's completely banned. I visited last week but there didn't allow to trek from Kulem itself. So we opted to trek from forest

1.how much time it takes to trek from castle rock to dudhsagar
2.from dudhsagar did you trek back to castle rock or went ahead to kulem...which is better option according to you
3.from which route you came back to banglore...same castle rock to yeshwantpur or...went to belgaum to banglore...

1. From castle Rock it's around 14kms to Dudhsagar falls it took us around 5 to 6 hours for us
2.After trek we went to kulem because it's a short distance 10 to 11 kms so that we can have view of both ways
I personally prefer going towards kulem after trek brother.
3. We reached kulem by 6 in d evening and everyday there is train from there to bangalore around 10pm we took same train

1. There is no official stop for sonalium
It may stop or it may not
2. If getting at any station and going by walk there is no ticket on entry fee for it
3. When we visited guards were der at falls they asked us to pay 1k but we didn't pay they made wait for 15 mins and let's us go.

Usually if anyone sees u trekking from castor or kulem they will try to stop u or ask for fine,,,, u have to escape from their eye n keep moving....
If ur starting from kulem then there is a chance guards may send u back before visiting d falls
If ur going from castle Rock first ull get to see falls next guards
