Themes from Batman shows, movies, and games. I didn't include Batman and Robin because of low-quality audio and didn't include the Lego Batman movie since I don't know the main theme. Other animated shows and movies were also left out.

This video's popular again. Some tidbits:
- This was made pre Snyder cut. The new Justice League theme isn't included because of this.
- Left out a lot of the animated adaptations outside of the Animated Series since there is a ton. If I update this, I'll probably include more of them.
- Was going to include Lego Batman, but didn't know what part of the score to include, so I left it out.
- Batman and Robin was left out due to poor audio quality.
If I update this, I'd probably change a few things + add some more Batman themes.
Small recommendation if you do wanna add the Batman & Robin music, you could buy the soundtrack off Ebay as a DVD for like 4 dollars and then rip the song off the disk. Check the law to make sure it's legal first lol. It's probably under Fair Use, but who knows.
FYI, pretty sure you mixed up the themes for Batman Begins and TDK. That second theme is Molossus from Batman Begins.

You should include the intros from The Batman 2004 for the Noir rifts. That and its S2-3 intro ost as its a homage to the adam west Batman

The 1989 theme will always be special in our hearts because it was heard in the Lego Batman games which truly defined our childhood.

You can argue with me, but to me, this is proof that Batman has almost never had a bad theme. Of course, some really good Batman themes were left out, but that's okay. Each theme is very fitting to each respective Batman and movie; however, you cannot give one Batman the theme of another Batman. Joss Whedon made that mistake in my opinion.
Agreed 👍. I do feel that Batfleck is worthy of the 1989 theme though (since I view that theme as being the best of the best... aside from MotP)

@@StoryArtsConcepts I disagree. I'd say Affleck is a better Batman (character as a whole) than Bale, even Batman Begins. I'd say Affleck and Pattinson are pretty much equals. I do give Affleck the advantage of being an established Year 20 Batman, just like Batman: Arkham Asylum. *To Add:* I am thinking of prime, hero Batfleck from ZSJL. Not thinking of when he was borderline villain Batman in DoJ
Affleck is the best "dark" Batman while West is the best "light" Batman.
Thoughts and opinions on Val Kilmer's Batman?
@@thenoirknight5729 love Kilmer but his Batman is in a very weird spot. Like he’s not serious enough to fit in with Keaton and them but he’s not campy enough to fit with Clooney and West. It feels like they tried to do a middle ground with him and I enjoyed it. I just finished rewatching Batman Forever recently and I noticed that Kilmer’s Batman is more logical thinking than most of the others

@@fearofthedark88see I thought rises was really good, I thought dark knight was much much better, the thing I loved about DK was that it very easily could’ve existed on its own where as rises couldn’t, with rises you needed the context of the previous two for the plot. Obviously begins adds some context to DK but I don’t think you would’ve have to had seen begins to understand DK which is what I love.
I think the Batman Beyond theme will always have a sacred part in my heart, given terry was my animated Batman. Something about the theme gets me hyped in such a visceral way.

I find it interesting how you can see how batman has evolved through his themes, the 1960's theme is very campy and upbeat while as you go down the line it shifts to a more kind of heroic theme and then to modern day with the slower and grittier theme
after watching the new movie, I think I have a new favorite batman theme...

Try listening to the soundtrack apart from the film and telling me that "The Batman" theme is good. I find it the simplest and most boring score I've ever heard.

The 1989 theme is almost the same as Justice League Batman Theme. I think it is good choice, because it is the most heroic of them all. It's also used in the Lego Batman.
Elfman scored both movies so he took the opportunity to sneak his theme into JL.

@@rockstarphantom8112 More like took the opportunity to destroy Hans Zimmer and Junkie XL's work. I love the 1989 theme, but it belongs to Michael Keaton, it is HIS theme. Ben Affleck has his own theme, just like Henry Cavill's Superman has his, but Elfman also chose to replace it, this time with John Williams' theme, which, sorry, belongs to the Donnerverse Superman, meaning Christopher Reeve and Brandon Routh (Routh's Superman is one and the same as Reeve's).

It's also pretty heroic at the same time. DCAU Batman is the quintessential Batman - though the Arkhamverse Batman probably beats it in certain aspects.

I like how Batman begins is drastically different than the 90’s version but keeps it with a very similar key and theme.

When it comes to Battinson, you can feel everything changing including the mood.
Danny Elfman's theme (Batman '89) is probably the most associated with Batman, similar to John Williams's theme for Superman, but for me, Hans Zimmer's music for the Dark Knight Trilogy is the best.
I think the music was too mature that it felt like basic adult movie theme.
Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard for the first two movies. It shows that it was JNH who made the best music because Zimmer was sole composer in TDKR and it isn't that great of a listening experiência.
Why does no one ever seem to mention James Newton Howard?
Nick Arundel did a pretty great and phenomenal job with the Batman arkham games, they're just as good honestly.
Zimmer's score is the music I associate with Batman the most it sounds powerful and grandious

I don't get what is so amazing about "The Batman" when the score is one of the most boring themes I've ever heard. Two notes and a crescendo here and there repeated over and over. Theres nothing there.

@@JSSTyger I think that's why. The sensation of repeated ansiety gives an horror feeling and that's how Batman is portrayed on the film. Like it or not, it suits him

I love the other themes immensely but the thrill of hearing the animated series opening as a kid really gets me.
The arkham city theme is one of my favourites. The 1989 theme was also in the Lego video games. The Batman theme is my favourite Michael Giacchino did an amazing job
2:30 Mask of the phantasm has the de facto Batman theme for me. Nothing is as powerful and gothic and true to Batman more then this!
It has the sound of true dominance and it's everything a Batman theme should sound like. It's the type of theme you hear when you've messed up so badly.
I feel like the Arkham city is powerful at the same level or even more powerful.

Danny Elfman's theme from Burton's 89 Batman film is the theme that I associate with Batman. Hearing it referenced in Batman Returns and Forever AND even in JL is top notch, plus its the theme for the OG Lego Batman game and the 2nd one too if I'm not mistaken. Sure, its more heroic rather than gritty in nature like Batman's character, but none can deny, Elfman was given simple directions and the man delivered tenfold what was asked. Some people have managed to remix it into some of the more modern themes and it still fits well.
The fact that so many musicians incorporate the 89 theme in to their Batman projects tells us everything we need to know about that movie.

LEGO Batman and The Dark Knight are what truly made me a Batman fan and were my first introduction to the franchise. That’s why the Batman ‘89 and The Dark Knight themes always hit the home run for me.
Edit: Arkham City has got to be one of my favorite video games of all time, so I would have to say that theme is also AMAZING.

The "The Batman" theme is my favorite now. The others might be more complicated but this can be so iconic and yet so simple. It was so good to hear it on the movie theater.

The 89 Theme is the most iconiv one and part of my childhood, but the theme of Batman Begins and The Dark Knight are the best. Hans Zimmer kew how to express Bruce's tragedy, his dark side and inner fight. His themes are on point.

Even though Hans Zimmer Dark Knights themes breathed a new air into the detoriating batman themes, but I will say, Arkham City theme is that theme which suits the best with the batman lore. Its feels exactly like to be a batman.

To anyone paying attention to the Batman symbol, watch closely how the "head" of the Batman symbol slowly disappears through every symbol progressively getting smaller and smaller until it is non-existent 🤣

for me I when I think Batman themes I think 1989, Arkham City and 1966. Don't get me wrong the others are good but these are the 3 I personally associate with Batman.

The 1989 is obviously the best theme for the batmobile entering/exiting the batcave so good.
It's a crime to break this theme at this point.
