The legacy of never having a bad Batman theme lives on.
From Elfman's iconic them to Zimmer's scores in both TDK and BVS and now this.......just awesome.

How the theme mirrors his arc is great - goes from "I am vengence!" "Fear is a tool" to "I have to become more. People need hope. To know someone’s out there for them."
I love how the Batman theme sounds strong but unresolved, like Bruce Wayne’s trauma. Genius.

It’s really shown by each club scene. First he forces his way in as batman, then he walks in as Bruce. Each time he goes to angry or too peaceful. Before he sneaks in, silent without being noticed, he uses his skills and brains than brute force or passive walk.
This truly does capture the feeling that being Batman isn’t a gift or a privilege but a curse.
"This is my gift, this is my curse."
Batman and Spider-Man have always been similar in that regard. Often times they try to find happiness only for that to be yanked away. I vividly remember the scene in Mask of the Phantasm where he is begging his dead parents to let him have a normal life because “things are different now”, and the lightning that crackles in objection. He has a responsibility greater than himself to fulfill, and that is what truly makes a hero a hero.

Don't know if you ever watched the show Lost but that was when I first heard his stuff and was blown away.
Up has one of the my favorite soundtracks ever.
Don’t forget the new Star Trek stuff say what you want about the movies but the soundtrack(s) we’re too notch
I knew him from Lost. Such powerful themes in that show!
His work on planet of the apes is also underrated
The part that begins at 4:00 stucks your mind whole day after watching the movie.And it’s outstanding
Yesss, is perfect
True
I was mumbling the theme all day along. LOL
Thank you for this
Day ? I still have it in my mind
Imagine Batman coming down right at you in slow mo, and hits the ground real hard ( raining ) and loud thunder in the background and he slowly marches towards you with the brutal eyes
And finally saying " I AM VENGEANCE"
That's true fear right there
Cant wait for the batman 2!!!
Robert Pattinson admitted that Batman: Mask of The Phantasm is one of his favorite depictions of the character.
The guy gets it. He’s BATMAN!
Awesome!
Exactly. For a moment Bruce thought he could have a new life. in the struggle , he came back to his destiny.
I KNEW I FELT THAT THEME ECHO IN THIS ONE!!!
My favorite scene is when he puts on the mask. And that theme starts playing. And Alfred looks scared shitless.
I always considered Mask of the Phantasm the best Batman movie, animated or live-action, so when I read that interview I was really impressed. I think they just might beat it. Pattinson and Reeves really get Batman in a way I don't think their predecessors did.
EPIC!!!
Cant wait to see how you take this track and somehow do a crazy epic remix eventually
I just know we're about to get something glorious in a couple of hours, you CHAD.
Can't wait to see what you make from this!
Ok now we are going to get an epic version from this man!!!! Lesssgooo
Can't wait for your remix... even though this is already epic.
One year on, this theme still feels so fresh. The Best Batman Theme. 🦇 ❤️
i feel badass hearing this
I feel like this really shows Batman's darker, more ruthless side, but also shows Bruce's humanity.
@Al this is poor for u?
@Al stop it
@Al Batman is a hero.
@Al Compose something better then
But it’s your opinion anyway.....
@Al u have some high standards lol
I haven't got chills like this since The Dark Knight. 🥶
👀
More…
It will be better, bro. I know it.
@@ravenhendrix908 it really was the intro scene gave me CHILLLSSS.
@@HeyitsmeUzi AMAZING MOVIE, THE GREATEST PATTINSON
I’m still watching this movie till this day. One of the best Batman Films I’ve ever seen. This song was so perfect for the more into the detective side of Batman, but still clearly showing his relatively new at this and still needs training.
Man I love this masterpiece The great batman 🌑
This sounds 100% like “they all think I’m in the shadows even though I can’t be everywhere at once”
and the bandits scared looking at the shadows thinking he might cme
but seriously tho, this version of batman is somehow got a frenemy relationship with the GCPD. It's like they intentionally make some part of the town dark to make the batman menace
But i am the shadows.

6:00 the way he walks towards the penguin is a masterpiece seeing him upside down reminding us of a bat
What a cinematic experience that was. Absolute mesmerizing.
