Great video and I think we both agree it’s your best to date. The mixture of entertainment and education is nailed on the head. Tbh I think that one day cheese will kill me but not necessarily from a sling shot. Loved the sunset at the end and also the music for your outro is very peaceful 😊

Great video....... I lived there for a time after my parents retired and built a house near Strandhill. It's a beautiful county steeped in history and you paid Sligo a great compliment in this video!
Really loved this - my grandfather came from Sligo , left as a young man to fight Hitler joined the British Army . I guess you will understand the complexities there at the time. He never returned and my grandmother settled in England. We have never been to Sligo but i think we should.
Thank you so much for watching xx Thank you also for sharing your story, I hope when things clear up you and can over a see your grandfather's home county xx
Beautiful video and fair play for climbing Knocknarae it does takes a lot out of you. On your next trip to Sligo you should visit the Gleniff Horseshoe Glen and Tobernalt Holy Well, two more beautiful areas in Sligo. Thank you for sharing this video and best of luck in your travels.
Sligo is a stunningly beautiful county and city it has everything amazing scenery great people awesome beaches for the love of jesus who in their right mind would not want to live there
Ah I love Sligo. You are such a nice person. I live in Antrim and used to drive to Sligo and visit the carrowkeel tombs I can't wait to get my car fixed and go back!
Well done making it it up to the top of the mountain. Reminds me of Seefin Passage Tomb up there! Also all that hard work editing definitely paid off 😍!!
Hi, greetings from Louth! :) I've just discovered your channel, & I love it. I used to live in Stradhill years ago, it's just a pity that Mammy Johnston's wasn't there when I lived there, though I've visited there many times in recent years.
Wow Amy great video. Sounds far your best. You can tell the time and love that went into editing and filming this video. Loved the music. We learned about the line differences between Ireland and Northern Ireland. Good tip about the 'hell' bush. Great subset end. -Shawna🍁
Thank you so much. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I tried my best with it as I didn't exactly film like I normally do. But alot of people have said this was one of my best so I might stick to this format xx
Please come back and visit Gleniff Horseshoe and the mills, Benbulben Forest Walk, Glencar lake, Streedagh, Union Rock, Mullaghmore Head and Bishops Pool, Keshcorran Caves, Temple house, Mark ree Castle and Clayton Hotel! These places are absolutely class! I'll even go with you. 🚶🏻♀️🗻 Sligo is incredible!
Thank you so much for your recommendations!! Sligo has so much to see and do!! If I had a car I would have stayed longer, hoping for a return trip someday soon
@@travelbugbee That would be super! And also, thanks for the lovely video you made! 🤣 I've never been up to Knocknarea so your video answered most of my questions. Been all over, but way too scared/unfit to attempt her. 🤣❤️ Maybe next year! Who knows.
In Sligo Sept 2022 - hopelessly unprepared. Thought the season was over but every hotel fully booked. Still, not one tour any of the historic or scenic places, Ben Bulben, Inisfree, Yeats burial site (it's not Yeats it seems but it doesn't matter - his words are on the tombstone). I found walking around Sligo, vehicles speeding more reckless than any city I've visited - Bangkok, Boston, Rome....Then, the catastrophe that is public transport! End of griping for now!
The public transport situation in the North West (not just Sligo Town) is something everyone complains about, _especially_ the locals. Unfortunately, fixing that situation requires Dublin to care, which it doesn't. Even if local government wanted to do something, it couldn't due to how taxation works in Ireland.
Hi there ☺️ Honest answer is that I was too lazy to take it off. My mask was pretty comfy and I barely noticed it on. But you'll see in the rest of the video I don't wear one when unnecessary. This was a year ago and masks are no longer required in Ireland 😊
@@travelbugbee I'm moving to Sligo soon hopefully, I liked your video hope to do the same walk up to the Queen's tomb. Thanks for the reply 😊 It might have come across a bit mean sorry, your good to reply I'm not in best head space myself hopefully the move injects some positivity into my life anyway take care.
@@harrow3321 not at all. It's actually a common question on this video for some reason 😂 Hope things get better for you and hope your move to Sligo goes smoothly for you 😉
So for the first clip that I wear a mask (at the bus station) I wore it outside because my bus was due any minute and the station was somewhat busy. It's a very comfortable mask to wear so it doesn't bother me. The second time I wear a mask outside (by the tree) I just got off the bus and just didn't bother to take it off because I'm lazy lol. But for the rest of the video when I'm outside alone I don't wear one xx Thanks for watching 🥰
