- Howdy folks! Hope all is well! Today, i'll be talking about each mutant in the Stalker series, their origins, folklore, and a bunch of other stuff. I try to be entertaining as well as informative, and if I miss anything that you find important, please let me know in the comments below. Stalker is interesting since throughout the trilogy, some mutants change, so I'll be extra careful detailing which ones do and don't.
If you're wondering about the STALKER franchise, and want to know more about life in The Zone, check out my retrospectives or other lore videos:
Retrospective: • S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow ...

Let me know what your favorite or least favorite mutant is, and why. I'm going bloodsucker, since cloaking is my least favorite enemy ability.
All the best,
Dog Dad
Howdy Folks! Hope this finds you well! Today we'll be exploring the Mutants in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series! Let me know what your least favorite mutant to face off with is, and which one is your favorite. Thanks for taking the time to watch, and if I missed something you find important, let us know down below.
All the best,
Dog Dad
My favorite is the fleshpig because they're so Cronenberg. My least favorite are all the annoying ankle-biter types, especially cats in Anomaly. My favorite mutants to battle for sport are snorks, lurkers, chimeras, and pseudogiants depending on game/mod. Most of my Zone Sportsmanship Challenges pertain to hunting specific mutants in specific ways, often with a specific type of weapon or with a specific loadout.
should make an anomalies explained video for stalker 2 and how to handle/survive them, great vid!
@ great idea!
I propably come late to that party, but you are indeed being kinda blind - at least in SOC.
If you search through the building where entrance to X18 is THOROUGHLY, you will find an RPG lying on the ground in one of the top floors of the building.
@ yes I am blind, but it is you that cannot see
I think the burrower specifically using a crying baby mimicry to lure in stalkers implies that the average stalker would gladly dive into a nightmarish lab to save a baby, which is kind of wholesome lol
I love this, thank you
if anyone wanna know, the buro also lacks a melee attack and if you rush em with your knife they will try to get away, and as long as you can stay close they can't do anything about it.
@@cedricschmidtke4287Burer* but I agree.
@@GoobleryKu nickname
But on the other hand wtf would a baby do in the freaking zone. So avarage stalker is kind but also dumb
Note about finding burers in COP: When you discover a new mutant for the first time, it adds it to the pool of mutants that can now spawn in the wild. So if you do that mission that lands you with a burer earlier in the game, you now have the potential to run into one again randomly out in the wild before going to x-8. It’s not a guarantee, and they’re on the lower side of spawn chance, but I’ve seent em!
Oh that’s really cool! I did not know this, thanks for sharing!!
I saw one by a bridge in the open. Fortunately, I was with a group of Stalkers and it got instantly mowed down. They're not so dangerous when they're not in confined areas
Doc, from Strelok's group in SoC, also had a tame pseudodog. It only appears in cutscenes, but it's there.
Last week I saw Russia soldiers thought they were the flesh. Week before I saw Russia woman and ran. I thought she was psuedo giant. Scary scary
I'm brand new to STALKER, and your channel has been great for learning some of this lore.
Thanks man!
Thank you for choosing to watch and comment : )! I appreciate it!!
As someone who has had dogs my whole life, it doesn't bother me to kill the blind dogs, mainly because they are pixilated fictitious dogs. And also because my dogs look at the tv and get excited when the blind dogs make noise.
Yeah i have a dog and i dont really care
Dogs are a part of almost every shooting game, If someone has a problem shooting pixel dogs, but not pixel humans that says something weird IMO.
@@XUM4N Yeah as someone who has had humans my whole life, it doesn't bother me to kill the humans, mainly because they are pixilated fictitious humans.
@@XUM4NI swear I don't like gatekeeping but if a lack of gatekeeping means people with this mindset come in then maybe a little filtering isn't that bad
Being brand new to stalker has been awesome for my "what the hell is that thing" experience in video games lol. Great video btw, very helpful putting names to mutants I've been hearing about in game or online
I'm so happy you're diving into the wonderful and wild world of STALKER! Glad the video helped, and you'll be an expert Trapper in no time! Thanks for watching!
@@Pottzy i played it for this very factor im discovering new things everyday this coming from someone who has rinsed most games on xbox
In stalker 2 the poltergeist has a body. I found it and had to make a reddit thread to find out what it is because I'd never seen the model for its body before
Yup! I exclaimed joyfully when I saw it smash to the ground after almost killing me 4 hours into HoC
Wait what? They didn't have bodies before? I could've sworn I saw them in call of pripp
Poltergeist’s don’t agro if you move slow and are quiet
Yea I think they had the same model on death in SOC too.
Poltergeists have always had a body in stalker games.
The Monolith is pleased that you are informing fellow brothers. Good work
I am a simple envoy
All glory to the Monolith
The Doctor, from Strelok's group, also has a tamed pseudodog in cutscenes.
You’re right!! So they set it up for a while, thanks for taking the time to comment this!
That one has a squishy jowl face like a Mastiff.
This video is gonna make me hop back in clear sky and finnish playing the stalker games
It’s worth it! Especially with HoC coming soon!
don't subject yourself to that torture
Speaking of Finnish, you can get an Rk.95 in Oblivion Lost 2010.
Just woke up and look, what a nice rainy morning in Poland to listen to Dog’s video about Stalker mutanta!
Perfect vibes!
Enjoy : ) hope all is well!
my guess with the crow bit is they are often referred to as vessels for souls, there are a few artifacts that deal directly with the idea that artifacts can be organic. if crows are vessels for bits of essentially consciousness then they belong to the noosphere to some degree and can probably see or sense rips in reality caused by the destabilization of the noosphere
Wow that’s very cool! Thank you for sharing this!
The only one that is scary to me was the pseudo giant, because it looks truly like something mutated, it has a weird large malformed head and it looks like a huge deformed version of Belial from the first basket case basically. The pseudo giant reminds me also of some of those weird deformed babies in containers that died, around the Chernobyl area in real life, that are preserved in those glass containers.
Thank you for taking the time to share this! Sorry I didn’t see it to respond! Yeah those containers are creepy!! Hope all is well!
dang if i was that baby and somehow survived and grew up id be an angry monster too
"They make this weird sound."
"SKAHHH"
Because you’re relying too much on your eyes to find anomalies. The dogs can hear them
And the crows see infrared and detect electromagnetic fields (migratory navigation)
My theory is blind dogs can see the zone in the same way Faust shows you in stalker 2.
I would argue the Snorks are Stalker's most iconic mutant personality:O
Feels bad killing blind dogs, but will turn bandits into pink mist.
Bayun and their creepy speech replication had me freaked out yesterday. First time i noticed them saying stuff becuase it kept repeating "hey stalker over here i need help". And psuedodogs are just absolute day ruiners, id rather deal with multiple poltergeists and burers at the same time over a single psuedodog.
no kidding first time I encountered a poltergeist, I kinda panicked mag dump the weird electrical wandering thing. good times.
0:03 “I hope this finds you well” Yeah…I was just torn apart by bloodsuckers but…yeah, I’m great
Ahahahah thank you for this
One thing i think you should've touched on more is the wildlife's supposed adaptation to the zone. Blind dogs and crows both seemed to have independently evolved some kind of "anomaly-sense" that makes them more fit for survival in the zone. I think its especially apparent with the blind dogs, it seems they traded their visual sense for the extras-sensory anomaly sense. Some stalkers claim they can sense amonalies without a detector too, probabably a similiar adapatation or biological mechanism involved in detecting anomolous activity.
The blind dogs survive anomalies because they just like... FEEL them maaaan.
The first controller sighting in SOC was truely frightening for me as a youngster. Still just as incredible
It’s likely that the Blind Dogs can "see" anomalies before they appear to the naked eye, and given how easily they can track Stalkers, mutants, and other animals, it’s likely they aren’t blind in the traditional sense, and instead have a different kind of sight that was achieved after losing their eyes, one that allows them to see, and therefore avoid, anomalies that can just pop into reality.
13:53 live footage from the streets of Vancouver
😂😂😂😂
Not sure if it happens everytime you go there but its happened to me twice now but in stalker 2 in Zaton theres a fire anomaly called "the circus" and after looting the 2 artifacts theres a group of like 10 snorks that spawn in fighting a group of zombies which is hilarious because the snorks have no actual way to end a zombie so its just a constant cycle until the zeds end the snorks.
The dog's injured animation as qell as the whimpering is a heartbreaker. Surly they can be tamed and cared for properly
when you think about it.. the name pseudo-dog implies that the fact Lassie exists, impacted the name of that mutant. Like the behavioural trait of being able to be tamed is what seperates them from wolves.
You can actually meet three burers in yanov. Two in the unidentified mutant quest and another one is at the bunker place, where a note from sokolov is
Thank you for this!
You said that crows can avoid anomalies better than pilots, and that it drives biologists mad. Took me less than 20 seconds to understand why, they see into the infrared spectrum on top of having the ability to sense electromagnetic fields. That's silly that they're so stumped about it.
When the crows take over, we will be spared!
8:11 I mean crows and ravens are very intelligent not to mention they have great memory and they're birds they use the Earth's magnetic field to navigate. Seems pretty cut and dry as to why they can survive in the zone.
Let’s go crows and ravens! I knew they liked shiny things, but didn’t know this added info, thanks for sharing! They would do a better job than I
Currently playing stalker 2 and I’ve renamed the chimera God. You can’t run from God. You can’t hide from God. You can’t kill God. You can only pray God gets stuck on something so that you can donate all your ammo, explosives, and heals to induce nap time.
There is a quest that spawns one.. I hate that quest..
Yea this game man… you can see there is a great game buried underneath a huge payer of shit right now. Sponge enemies plus the a life not working is making me want to put this game down until it’s fixed.
@@Dog.Dad.StudiosI always bring an RPG for that quest 😂
That part at 13:53 reminds me of that scene in I Am Legend where the vampires are huddled together in that dark room.
Really just found you, I appreciate that you love these games as much as me.. I can see the enjoyment you get. Have a sub brotherman.
I appreciate this so much! It’s what makes this journey worth it, being able to share the experiences we all have with games we love.
Wishing you the best!
The burrowers are also in the mod: autumn aurora 2.1 for soc. They are found deep in the labs shuffling around. Spooky level
Saw and beat my first Burer on stalker 2 yesterday and he’s annoying af but skifs handgun cannot be gun pulled so good luck with them stalkers
Play stalker2 and the burers are a nightmare because they can pick up weapons around you and shoot them, plus they can snatch your weapon
Hey man, your videos hit my algorithm after searching for how-to videos for Stalker 2 and I just wanted to say keep up the good work. You're the best lore channel on TH-cam and I like your style. I hope your videos take off now that Stalker 2 is out and you get other zone noobs like myself to come to your channel.
Yay! That's amazing to hear, and great to see on my end that the community is growing! I'm so excited to continue on with STALKER 2 at the start of the new year, so that it allows people time with the game. Don't want to be overzealous, and will take my time with the X labs video and more : ) wishing you the best this weekend!
I love this kind of vids. Keep up the good work.
Thanks so much! Will do : )
Idk why but ur greeting made me like the vid right away
Thank you for taking the time to write this! Hope you enjoy the video
4:55 this proves that the stalker can leave the zone but the zone will never leave the stalker, it follows the stalker in the form of cancer.
The blood sucker quest is so funny cause i never figured out how to gas them so i just went back with a spaz12 and 10 grenades and i just fucking tossed as many as i could and unloaded when they ran up the small opening into the room you first meet em
When I first played I did this and ahaha, good times! Thanks for sharing!!
There’s a random cave in the beginning of Soc that has 2 burrowers. Haven’t seen any since
Hell yeah i love anomalous dugout but his accent is very thick so this is fantastic
Thanks for taking the time to watch!
Lol i love anomalous dugout because of his accent 😂
But dougout has more knowledg
@ he’s definitely gotten a head start on the subject! And I don’t just focus on stalker : )
His accennt is the best thing
The mutant I hating the absolute most so far in stalker 2 are the PsiDogs. If you don't pin down the real main body at the start of the fight, you're just dead.
He will swarm you with his semi real copies to take you down while hiding either in the brush or behind obstacles. Cheeki F*cker
They are dastardly!!
If you just recently discovered the S.T.A.L.K.E.R series. I'd recommend the *COMPLETE* mod series for each game in the Trilogy. The Complete mods focus on improving the original game’s graphics, sound, and atmosphere, while preserving its core elements. It also fixes a lot of bugs and glitches.
Apart from that. you may also need to do few tweaks as well like.
1. Disabling the Head bobbing [ pdf file that comes with complete mod explains how to do this ]
2. Increasing the FOV [ you'll need to download a separate mod or edit the games files yourself ]
3. Enabling each game to have large address awareness [ It's called the 4GB Patch which reduces performance issues and crashing ]
4. Putting " *-noprefetch* " in the launch parameters reduces long loading times and stuttering.
[ On a personal note - Hardcore fans of the series may dislike the COMPLETE mod series since they believe it makes the game too easy. But it is undeniable that the overall performance, optimizations, bugfixes and visual upgrades that the COMPLETE mod series provides you - without straying away from the core elements that the Devs intended for you to experience ]
Picked up stalker 2 as my first entry into the series. I wish I would have watched your channel before I jumped right in. 😂
I appreciate you! Don’t worry! It’s an always unfolding story. Somethings clicked ten years later for me. No rush on the information : )
Wishing you the best!
The awesome thing about playing stalker for the first time is that the game is so stupidly immersive. My gun knowledge and intuition are what keeps me alive in the Zone but far worse than the mutants themselves are the humans.
I’m gonna subscribe because you got right into it in under a minute thank you
First thirty seconds are the most important! And for longer rants I put them as intros so people can skip over them. Hope all is well!
I actually one shot the peuso giant in soc since i found a rocket launcher in the bandit base and i thought id have to destroy a wall or something
Ahahah okay, I never found ammo for the rpg in SoC. One of the monolith guys has the rocket launcher, that I remember after entering Radar lol
ShoC pseudogiants aren't very tough. Four buckshot blasts to the face with any shotgun (even the sawed-off Mad Max gun) at a room-length distance will do. In the other games, and mods like Anomaly, 40-mils are the ideal problem-solver when dealing with "big game." For some reason, most players don't use grenade launchers. Maybe because CoD has forever tarnished the reputation of grenade launchers, making people perceive them as "noob tubes" rather than indispensable force-multipliers.
Hello,i really like the video and really appreciate that you did it with such in-depth.You just got yourself a new subscriber!.I would love it if you did one for anomaly or artifact next time.
Very nice info ! Looking forward to the sequel ;)
I appreciate you taking the time to write this and watch my video : )! Thank you!! It means a lot!
nice :)
also check out item descriptions
a lot of them have small bits of lore
one example being the first being the flash eye quote
" The mutated, swollen eye of the Flesh acquired a number of strange characteristics, the most useful of which is the ability to regenerate the lens. The specifics of the process are hitherto unknown, although such discovery would most certainly revolutionlize modern medicine. You can play your part in scientific development by selling Flesh eyes to scientists for their experiments"
Very cool thank you : )!!!
Imagine this: The story continues from the "I want the Zone to disappear" ending. Marked One is blind. He's found wandering the Zone by ecologists and taken to Yantar where Professor Sakharov implants a fleshy piggy fleshpig bulging eyeball into his left eye socket (because the left eye is the bulgy one). He can then see and smell with his fleshy piggy fleshpig bulging eyeball! The scent-eye ability would be represented like Batman's "detective mode." And since he now only sees out of his left eye (his face would now appear lop-sided like a fleshpig's fleshy pig-face or like the face of the Toxic Avenger), he shoots left-handed.
Got stalker 2 yesterday as an early birthday gift, and I wanted to look into some lore. Definitely earned subscribe and attention, which it’s kinda hard to hold. HDHD thing, lol. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the video, I plan on watching more, and I hope you continue to rise in TH-cam fame.
What's been your favorite part so far? I appreciate your kind words and time, truly thank you! Wishing you the best, and talk soon!
The Fate of the Zombies [ those who lost their minds to the brain scorcher ] is the most depressing aspect of the game for me personally. If you're curious of what they are saying - try looking up the video
"S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - ZOMBIE voices - English subtitles"
I was fighting some poltergeists near malachite and one of them threw the dead body of another poltergeist at me 😂
-Bust Severus, 17 yeаrs lаter?
-Аlwаys.
apparently on the wiki there’s also a mutant called the illusionist, which is killed off screen by dutyers
would of been cool to see one in the games though :(
I didn't realize poltergeists and pyrogeists were considered different. Stalker 2 is the first one I've played and I came across a pyrogeist and just thought nothing of it.
If you play the mod game Stalkersoup, you will find all the mutants plus others
i dident expected the DOH at 18.34 LOL😂
to me the chimera in stalker 2 is the hardest to kill by far.
Poltergeist is implied to be from the x labs you first encounter one in x 18 and at the end when you fight the fire version of it you can actually notice that one of the tanks containing weird fetus’ is actually empty hence it’s implied without actually saying anything where they’re from you’ll also find a tushanko in a little glass cage in the same lab implying that they’re also from the same lab not to mention the poltergeist bodies resemble the fetus in the tanks gotta love the environmental storytelling in stalker.
There's actually 2 characters with a pseudo dog now, the doctor in stalker 2 has one
I got attacked by 3 blood sucker and was struck by lightning right after i got out of the lesser zone in stalker 2
Wanna try your hand at some Zone Sportsmanship Challenges?
2:23 Some of us zoners call them "fleshpigs" just to remind ourselves that they're pigs. I read somewhere that the flesh is a pig spliced with the DNA of a fly. So we could also nickname them "Cronenpigs!"
4:54 I've always wanted to BE a fleshpig! By that, I mean I want to play the game as a fleshpig. Experience the Zone as a fleshpig. Just go around squealing at everyone, galloping around on pig-fly-mantis-hooves like a galloping pig-lump, and transforming every creature I encounter into a fleshpig version of itself by rubbing my bulging eyeball on everyone and everything of demented do0m a go go. 🙃 If you were playing the game AS a fleshpig, how would the ability to smell with your eyeballs be represented? I think it would resemble Batman's "detective mode."
5:19 I used to have a Boxer back in the day. He had a squishy face with floppy jowls. 😋
7:12 'Blind Fury' is one of Rutger Hauer's best movies.
11:33 "Shadow" (singular)
16:09 In ShoC, you can nail them in the head with a pistol for sport. .45s work best.
19:32 That's its left foot.
21:10 Mother Brain
22:05 "Mashed potatuuuuh..."
22:43 / 23:48 40-mils are the cure for pseudogiants. Underslung grenade launchers and 40-mils are more convenient than lugging around an RPG and some rockets.
23:36 You can dodge pseudostomps with perfectly-timed jumps in ShoC but not in Clear Sky or CoP. That never made sense to me. It's a shockwave, not an airburst, so there's no reason NOT to be able to dodge them by jumping.
I actually really hope in stalker 2 heart of Chernobyl, that they will add even more new mutants in future updates! I love creatures and beasts so they can go wild with even more mutants similar to fallout and metro! like a deathclaw/reptile mutant, a giant bird mutant etc!
I would love that! There was a lot of cut content from the original trilogy, maybe they’ll bring some of those guys back!
7:26 not too much boar lore 😢 nice video!
To be fair there really isn’t much to say about them apart from boars being in Chernobyl irl and are only hostile because of prolonged zero contact with humans
Even those stationed at Chernobyl have been advised to shoot them on sight
STALKER 2 onvet mode it takes a nonsense amount of ammo to kill blood suckers, but it's so much fun.
The best form of defence against aggressive rodents is gaining height to any place they cannot reach. Headshots are usually most successful and saiga shotguns ideal weapons at close quarters
I’m sure I’m going to be jumping maniacally on boxes today for HoC : )!
Awesome vid dude
Thank you!
I gave up on the OG stalker trilogy because the world is so vast. I think I'll get back into it and watch a few guides on what I should be doing in the game
In SoC hunt for artifacts and sell them, do side jobs for random stalkers, take your time and don’t engage in every fight.
Let me know if that helps : ) it’s a wild and amazing world to get into!
Wanna try some Zone Sportsmanship Challenges?
So, I don't think the bodies from the Poltergeists disappearing in Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat was retconned, because in the recently released Stalker 2, they have the body again after death.
As someone who just killed the psuedogaint in stalker 2... good luck
poltergeist bodies are back W
I rejoiced!!
On the note of blind dog survivability, you die to anomalies you can't see. Think about it.
Flesh = hogs mule people = bur i will admit I learned a lot from your video. Greatly appreciated it.
Thanks for taking the time!
In STALKER 2, its not just poltergeists and pyrogeists, its also shockgeists and acidgeists, they all look the same but their powers differ, Poltergeist being the weakest with telekinesis only(it can now erect a stone barrier in place for a while) every other geist can use their elemental power + poltergeist telekinesis. EDIT: Hitting the bloodcyka lair was fucking tense, i guess its the numbers there what made them appear every 5 minutes in STALKER 2.
Doctor in SoC also had a Pseudodog
Played clear sky last week I Red Forest Mine. Where are 3 or 4 Poltergeist. They had bodies once they died. At least sharing my own experience. The ones in Agoprom on Stairs just exploded. Maybe fire ones explodes and electric ones retains a body? I wonder
Interesting!
Just started playing stalker 2 and it kinda reminds me of when I first played fallout 3
Absolutely!! I just wish some of the characters in HoC had at least some heart to them
I may be broken... I completely understand wanting tot ame a mutant monster wolf. Any animal regardless of what it is, except for some sea life, if it's big enough, i wanna ride it...
WARNING FOR THE FAINT HEARTED , HE KILL DAWGZ
Burers are even more of a pain now, gotta rush to get thay weapon or itll be firing back, they also lay traps like if i see a bunch of broken guns laying about in an indoor environment theres one nearby
You miss kontroler from COP, the one who says " leave my cave stalker" and he only atack if you enter deeper
You look just like my friends older brother😢
He passed away years ago, he was our go to for anything gaming this is crazy
I’m so sorry for your and your friend’s loss. I’m glad he’s still remembered fondly.
There are Librarians, werewolves, bears, bats, insects, spiders, military zombies as well as male and female unarmed zombies amongst others
Werewolves?
9:21 Noah wasn't the only person who tamed pseudodog Doctor also has one even if it's in a cutscene it kinda counts i guess... also nice videos and channel mate
You’re right! Someone mentioned that too and I completely went, “ohh I can’t believe I missed that.”
It’s a really cool detail and shows they thought about the concept starting in SoC. Hope all is well and thanks for the kind words!!
Controllers are the only mutant that bypasses god mode. You will die from yourself by a controller
I should make my Tinder page nothing but Flesh pics😂
You might get some unwanted attention from loners lol 😂
Would I eat a flesh? Idk, but if the food is available and safe, I would eat that before digging into my non perishable rations.
There's a rocket launcher in the area underground in the first lab, and one in the factory in the Dark Valley.
In COP you can run into a controllers cave almost immediately
I did not know that ahahah thank you for sharing!
In Anomaly, i got enough goodwill with duty, got rpg, somehow got 2 rockest the second rocket i dont even know where it came from.
Went to disable miralce machine after a few jobs for loners, freedom and duty.
Kills eveyrthing in path trying to make sure companions are okay.
See pseudogiant.
Planted a bomb with proximity. Shoots the pseudogiant with rpg, bomb doesnt explode
It did i think since i couldnt find it so i think it blew up without me noticing, proceeds to kill pseudogiant with ak-105
This is the way
It sounded like the resident evil one save room music but remixed was playing in the background
You’ve got good ears!!
23:08
There was no pseudogiant behind this door. The door was knocked by a poltergeist.
Also the author has forgotten to mention one tiny detail about the poltergeist. It doesn't see you when you don't move. Yeah, it's unimportant in vanilla games where they can be killed easily, but in some mods you just have to use this trick against them.
Thanks for taking the time to write this! Could you share your source? I assumed that it was the giant on the other side before you get the code to the third level.
Hope all is well!
@@Dog.Dad.Studios the source is the game. You can abuse the pseudogian in the storage room by not entering it and shooting the mutant from outside the room. This gives us an idea that the pseudogiant in the x18 couldn't exit the storage room so it couldn't reach the door. Also we don't hear any steps from behind the door and those steps must be there if there was a pseudogiant behind the door. Thus. the door was shaken by the poltergeists.
Also added one detail to the main comment that wasn't mentioned in the video but exists in the game.
I always thought that was more of a technical glitch than a reality, that the giant doesn’t go past the doors.
When you face poltergeists in the games, you know they throw items at the player; with the door, something physical is banging on it, and I don’t think there are any items big enough that the poltergeist would throw at the door.
If you’re saying that it’s not the pseudogiant because it doesn’t go past the next door, I think that might be a game limitation, then the indication it’s the poltergeist
@@Dog.Dad.Studios and you misssed the second part of the argument: "Also we don't hear any steps from behind the door and those steps must be there if there was a pseudogiant behind the door."
Were developers limited by something to add those steps? No.
Also poltergeists interract with physical objects so what limits them from interracting with the door (and they can lift almost anything which has physics attached to it)?
---
Rechecked. There's no pseudogiant behind the door. This door leads to the fire poltergeist. Pseudogiant is located on the same floor but it is not behind the door.
Though there are other characters like pesudogiants in many games...
Most disturbing is probably Tomerry from [Library of Ruina] during the 'Love Town' episode...
Well... they both originate from annomalies and extreme experimentations I guess...
There’s one of those poltergeist bodies somewhere in Stalker 2. I couldn’t remember where I’ve seen it before until I watched this.
You can fight a poltergeist in the tutorial, its on a ship traveling between the bloodthirster fight and the fire anomaly cave. But following some questlines you eventually can come across more (both dead and alive)
There's one everytime you kill one, duh
Oh ok :))
in stalker 2 the burers can telepathically lift multiple guns and shoot them all simultaneously
Which made me ultra paranoid, so going into new enclosed areas, I would pick up all the guns I could that I knew were laying around for the guy, and hid them so they couldn't use them lol
