No apologies necessary :-) British fought the Germans for a lot longer than we did. And built the best aircraft ever - the Mosquito. What an incredible preservation, you can see the special compartment for the M-1 Thanks for sharing, Cheers from the colonies.
The double spring on the left hand side is to combat the torque of the engine, not to take the extra fat driver, (although in 1940 people were not as heavy as they are today). Chris B.
Yes, don't worry - it's a replica ( and before anyone says,it's an M1 Garand as not used by British Airborne ! ) But tomorrow we'll have a Sten Mk V (deactivated) on display....
I would think that everyone would know about this, but you would only have a few minutes of working as it is a 6 volt system! just as they know it is 4 wheel drive.
Lovely to see the Jeep and Horsa together. Thanks

Thank you.
Someone should build a flying fibreglass replica version of the Horsea glider for the airshow circuits.
There's even a rifle in the rack.(presumably disabled!)

4:14 Many thanks I never knew that and have never seen that done before. I wonder how many Jeep owners even know about that function.
