Ohhhhh Jesus!!, I love the part where you said...you go to church for confirmation of the Word you got from home. We need to stay in the place of prayer. ❤

I know!!! I recently tried three hours alone without anything, it was hard!! I thought I was going to have a breakthrough and not be stuck in my flesh and soul but the last two minutes were almost just as dry as the first two 😂😅 I'm so lazy and tired, it's discouraging, but I'm fighting, I want to be a warrior and not a baby!! 😝🙏🏼

My first time going an hour and three hours were with a group of people.
I think once you are able to do it with others a few times you develop capacity to do it on your own.
      I hope this helps you

I am so blessed, Pastor Aladiran. I'm a Pastor of a small church community aspiring to grow our numbers. Recently the issues of offence amongst members of the church workforce came up. I addressed it then but through this teaching I realize I have to go further to takedown any stronghold of offence that had been raised. The enemy is exposed and by His grace healing and restoration begins now in Jesus name.

It's quite demeaning to imply that if someone prays in tongues for less than 7 hours is not good enough.
    1) We're at different journeys in Christ and at different seasons.
    2) We're from different backgrounds. A Charismatic Christian whose from a catholic background is not the same as one who was born and bred in the Pentecostal world. So let God work in each person individually.
    3) You are a full time minister. You are paid for views online. You can comfortably preach, judge people the way you want then pray in front of the cameras and receive an income at the end of the month.
Some of us work 10/12+ hour shifts and come home exhausted, not because we feel like but because we have to.
I have a relationship with my Father God through my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I study his word and get understanding through my helper the Holy Spirit.
I DO NOT BUY INTO all these works to tick the box. I pray in my understanding and in tongues as I'm led by the Holy Spirit.

Beloved brother/sister,u are in a place of comfortable. The flesh will give you a million excuses why u should never press in the spirit. U need to know where God is everyday. U need to seek Him out everyday. If u think God is the one that needs adjustment,u are wrong. U need to get out of your comfort zone.

    • @mersixteen

@@ChristianOkpala-hz1ld Interesting 🤔So you're telling if I don't achieve the "SEVEN HOURS" then I am not pressing in the spirit? Can you please specify a scripture that supports your claim?

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 pray without ceasing dear, 7 hours prayer might not even be enough. However, I don’t think the idea is to be completely focussed on numbers and timings but there has to be a conscious effort to pray continuously and constantly. Hope that clarifies it for you

Why are you so offended. He spoke about being a baby vs. mature Christian. The fact is, the church are spiritually lazy and he is addressing that issue. It's not everything you must be offended by. If this is the word God led him to preach due to the spiritual movement and revival thats currently happening, where the LORD is raising up a new army, then let his word be and stop trying to be offended and cause quarrels in the comments section.

@@nellie2611 If you want to interpret my comment as "being offended" and "causing quarrels" then you're free to do so.
