What is the dividing issue in the church (you and I), is basing our relationship with one another on our color and ethnicity. This is rife in the church world wide to the point where we refer to ourselves as 'the black church'. I have never heard white folk refer to themselves as 'the white church', however, when visiting their place of gathering, they are sadly predominantly white in color..If we can't embrace one another, how on God's good earth are we going to impress it upon the world, the unbelievers, to 'learn' from us. I would go so far to say that we are an insult to our Lord Jesus in this regard. Oh Lord.

I find it easy to understand what God is saying when James speaks. It's like the Holy Spirit gives him the right words. Hearing the Iron-Preacher analogy here for the first time. Excellent choice for an example.

If you are not careful or spiritually discerning, you can easily take offence at what pastor James is preaching, HE IS PREACHING THE TRUTH . Indeed narrow is the way that leads to eternal life. Your messages have a way of convicting me and causing me to recognise how much I need God because I am flawed. I recognise how flawed I am and even question my motive and intentions for why I do the things I do and I realise that in itself is flawed despite all the spiritual activity I claim to be doing. I need the Holy Spirit to guide me back.
