I love hibike, kyokai no kanata, tamako market and both clannad openings, but I think your list is great, I don't think I would change anything.
I agreed pretty much entirely with the order of the ops in this list! Especially with Nichijou, a personal all-time fav of mine...I'm so excited to see A Silent Voice - seeing some deaf rep in such beautiful animation is way too amazing, and I fully plan on seeing it with my deaf mother (she really wants to see the sign-language) - and its OP, and can't wait to rank it in comparison to these fantastic openings. Watching these op-ranked videos of yours always makes me feel pumped to go binge some good anime, so thanks.

Thankfully, KyoAni has proven they are resilient enough to not let some damn scumbag destroy them completely. They are now getting better with each passing day.

I might be weird, but I'd like to hear a more detailed breakdown of Myriad Color's Phantom World more than anything else brought up in the video. I mean, we've seen plenty of awesome OP breakdowns, but I don't think WIAOP has ever analyzed an OP which broke down that badly.

Didn't expect Chuunibyou to get first place but I'm really glad it did, since I love the series! Also, I never realized the split-screen thing represented Rikka's vision. That's such an amazing analysis, this opening means even more to me now. I haven't watched many KyoAni shows yet, but I'm fascinated by their work's quality, especially when it comes to animation. I'll surely watch all of them.

Out of curiosity why no hibike OPs?
If I had to guess... The visuals of Hibike! Euphonium's openings are good, but they don't really break the mold, and neither has a unique premise. To their credit, there is great character animation that highlights the personalities of the characters. I favor the second OP because it has less flashy effects and the visuals create a more fitting atmosphere, along with the song. But I honestly can't say that they're better than the ones listen in the video (besides the Phantom World's OP). I say this as someone who likes the series a lot.
i kinda understand but if the reasoning behind choosing K-Ons last OP was because of the hand held camera theme the second OP for hibike employed that aswell and by using some really cool parallax techniques made it look alot more realistic. the first OP i agree other then the song wasnt really special but the second one did alot of what the K-On Op did but in my opinion slightly better , it has the same vibe of an amateur video albeit some one with with a bit more experience made it but instead of a music video its more of a club documentary. Any thoughts?
(Edit: also it has some better foreshadowing a bit on the nose maybe but still something and if ur wondering why i say it has the same amateur feeling to it is because of the fact that the OP uses some really basic filters and shot compositions and there are points where the exposure is to strong resulting in alot of flare that also has the effect of showing us what the stage feels like to the performers with blinding lights and a solitude of being alone with your team while the audiance judges from the shadows)

those two animes were pretty much Kyoto animations most famous animes pre k-on
The Clannad AS OP is one of my favourites of all time, but if you break them down critically, they spend to much time on character cards and still frames to be impressive enough and worth analysing.
Popularity doesn't equate to quality. This just goes to show that the rankings were taken seriously and minimized peer bias.
As much as i like the music of the ops, only after story had a chance of being on this list. And even then its relatively generic.
The Kanon OP was a great adaptation of the original visual novel's OP, making the character-card-laden original from 1999 more interesting and better fitting to a 2006 anime. However, many later shows had better openings.

I used to never really pay attention to what studio made whatever anime. But after what happened, I made sure to watch all of KyoAni's works. They've made so many beautiful shows that have touched my heart! Thank you Kyoto Animation so much
Yes! Finally someone reconizes the amazing animation of Nichijou and Amagi Brilliant Park!! But, seeing the other anime, I really want to watch all of them...
Clannad has got to be my favourite Kyoto Animation show, but Hibike Euphonium actually blew me away, and its second season was probably my top show of 2016.
Incidentally both of those shows have great or at least good OPs, yet I don't find myself questioning why they weren't on the list. Just shows how high the quality of OPs have been from this studio.
On the Other hand, Clannad's ED is one of the best ever.

Amagi Brilliant Park was so good! If I had to pick one Kyoto Animation anime it's probably Hyouka, I love all the other Kyo-Ani stuff, but I watched Hyouka when it aired and it wasn't what I expected, the anime is very fun to watch, Chitanda is best girl, fight me.

Everything good in the world is being taken away from us rlly early on: Paul walker, Monty Oum, Kyoto animation, and even heath ledger didnt even live long enough to see his role in the batman movie he finished, i remember hearing more deaths bout others, but sadly i cant remember them all, there are deaths out there that where people lived their whole lives and died leaving behind a giant legacy, but when they die when they could'ove expanded the legacy even more while in their prime, that makes it harder, I am always thankful for Kyoto animation for their quality of anime, Haruhi Suzumiya really helped me in wanting to explore more aniime stories and made me believe in the most fictional religion, im actually proud to be a follower of Haruhiism, lucky star helped me accept the fact its ok to be otaku, A silent voice was a beautiful movie with a good message, its hard to take this in.

Kyoani is my fav studio and I'm currently making my way through all their works (halfway done Tamako Market atm) and I really just love the grounded relaxed atmosphere they fill their shows with as they make the settings places I really wanna go to.

I liked After Story's OP but mainly because of the damn good music. They should've made the most of it with some cool visuals or something instead of presenting character cards for characters who are merely minor unlike the first season.

They don't have nearly enough cool animation to qualify. It isn't really about the music or the quality of the shows for these lists.
