The speed limit thing is a great point. I drove in Wales recently and my satnav hadn’t updated so it told me I could do 30 but it’s now changed to 20mph

Sadly I'm old enough to remember before the sat nav. When i passed I used to have an AA glovebox map. . Before going anywhere new that u didn't know would right key directions down then if had a passenger get them to read aloud or have it on the passenger seat to glance at the key directions . I remember once getting so lost stopped several times ask directions. Several groups of youths and at the garage avengly I did see the traffic police so asked them. They go I tell you what we can take you just follow us. Was ok till they went through a red light so I followed then next think another police car but the lights on to pull us . The traffic police radioed to say don't pull him it's our fault he's lost were he following us we went through red . Don't get me wrong I would have stopped if wasn't safe. There was no pedestrian or any danger to anyone. Now it's easy the sat nav look for the signs or the blue line to confirm and if you go wrong it will re route you. Not get on the motorway and see signs for London 70 miles then half an later London 40 . Oh we need to burl around at the next junction. Saying that it does give some stories to tell and makes a few good memories to remember things. 1 of the biggest reasons to get a licence is to make new memories and discover new places
