I purchased one recently and there is no way that this speaker puts out 80 watts of power. If you do some research you'll find it advertised internationaly as a 60 watt karaoke speaker. I even doubt that it puts out that much power. Buyer beware....
I think Zealot uses some sketchy math to get their power ratings. There are better speakers than the S57 in this price range. I would never recommend the S57.

I strictly bought it for kayaking because its water proof, is the sound at least somewhat loud

I don't have that Miatone and no longer have the S57, which isn't a very good speaker anyway. I would get something better.

@@aleksmiscua.9568 S57 is a mediocre speaker at best. I wouldn't recommend it at all.

Not very impressive, that's for sure. I'm beginning to understand why Zealot is a cheap-o brand. Maybe if they keep trying they will make a good one?
