Fired before the first rehearsal 😆At least they didn't waste your bus fare. Police: A massive album from a band that got stuck stuck in time IMO. They spent too much time punching each other and not enough moving with the flow.
The Police are a band that I hardly listen to but when I do I really do like them. I think the albums still stand up and yes, you're right the fight between Sting and Copeland are legendary.
Entertaining and informative - a fun change of pace. However, should we not separate the artist and art from the actual human? It's not as though the average person is personally subjected to the unpleasantness of the artist. One can appreciate and enjoy the art form, in this case music, while still maintaining a disdain for the actual artist. Just a thought. As always, thank you for making the morning that much more enjoyable. Next episode: Anders shares his tales of being sacked-ish. Cheers, Gents.
Anders here, of course we should separate the music and the artist, and Sting hasn't done anything egregious. That's my bad. Thank you for the kind comments yet again, it means a lot.
@@punktea8142 I cannot tell you how much I look forward to each and every video - always a bright spot in that day's events. As someone who went overnight from working 50+ hours a week to zero hours (I was a travel agent when Covid struck the world, the industry and my livelihood), I try to fill the void with only the most interesting things, and you gentlemen fit the bill quite nicely, and help this aging Boomer enjoy (an albeit forced) retirement. Again, thanks for all that you do for this community.
