Little recommendation for the oil bottle! My grandmother uses denture tabs to clean inside bottles that she cannot see or get a hand/brush inside... it works amazingly well and maybe you can use that to get some peace of mind before using your new bottle. The funniest part is she doesn't even wear dentures, so no idea how she came up with that 😂

Hey Tara, to clean your oil jar, crush up ice and put in with a lot of sea salt, swish around for a couple minutes. Empty.Then pour boiling water in and swish around, then let sit for awhile. Pour out in a bowl and see if it is clear. If it is, you know there is nothing in there. If it has some grit or color then repeat. The salt and the boiling water will kill any germs...I hope that gives you confidence to use the jar.

I absolutely relate to life being crazy busy. I promised myself at the beginning of the year to have a trip/fun event planned for every month and so far I have accomplished that. Even if it's something small it has pushed me to be more and more open to just saying yes and being ok in the chaos.

Sterilising fluid for the bottle, the kind they use to clean baby areas. In the UK it’s called Milton. You soak the bottle in a bowl of Milton and water so the item is clean enough for children to eat off.

I think you are right Tara. 'Relatable' is the new 'real'. I recall a demand for so called real women to be portrayed in the media and used as models. This was an attack on thin, fit, beautiful women. They were deemed unreal as the were not average. So, relability is a rebranding of this concept. I feel that if women can learn to accept themselves, and stop looking for validation from who others are, they will find the ability to accept difference. ❤ Just keep being you. We are cool with that.

Kindle case recommendation: I have the same transparent case on my kindle, I also have a sticker collection, so I place stickers on the inside of the case without taking the sticky backing off and u can make a scrapbook page on the inside of your kindle and switch it out whenever you want! Can also put paper, Polaroids, tickets etc. on the inside!

i am usually a pretty silent viewer but i’ve been watching since right before you moved to toronto. i love your vlogs especially your travel ones and all the decor / reno stuff too. id watch anything you post cause I watch every video, im here for your perspective on life & to live vicariously I can’t wait to be able to travel to the amount of places you have when i’m older you are definitely an inspiration to many 💗
also if you see this i’ve seen people put pop sockets on the back of their kindles you could get a cute one to match or something to put in the blank space

I am a 24 year stay at home mom to 3 kids. I don’t relate to you AT ALL! But I enjoy watching your adventures and seeing the world through your point of view. Moral of the story is that if everyone related to my situation, everyone would be the same. Relatability is the conveyer belt of social media. Please don’t change your videos for such a thing.

On the topic of relatability i totally agree. My life looks SOOOOO different from yours, we wouldnt relate on much, But thats the point. I LOVE seeing life from someone elses perspective, seeing how different yet the same we are as people. I love "living through you" in a sence.

Sterilising fluid for the bottle, the kind they use to clean baby areas. In the UK it’s called Milton. You soak the bottle in a bowl of Milton and water so the item is clean enough for children to eat off.

Lol yaaaasss queen you and I absolutely can't eat together, as my last trip to trader Joe's taught me, and our style is so completely different but you get me moving and watching you move through life is the only thing I need to relate to. I always appreciate the "definitely not clean, just moved stuff", that is relatable! LOL - And I agree with the whole "not relatable" complaint. First of all I know it would brake the internet, but who cares if someone doesn't like something, whatever happened to "if you don't have anything nice to say..." i've been eating this cottage cheese mustard thing for lunch everyday and seeing you eat it makes me so happy LOL. it's so simple and easy and delicious?! we love raw veggies + snacky lunches!!! and i use dijon mustard, too! or spicy brown mustard :)

I have been watching your videos for like 10 years now. And I have never really commented before, I just never do anywhere. I have watched all of your videos and you have been my favourite TH-camr since I found you on here. To hear you say "I don't know how people feel about travel vlogs nowadays." breaks my heart a little. F*ck it girl, from a personal experience of someone who actually loves your videos and likes you as a real person, I don't care what you post about, travel, home, L.A., Toronto or whatever your life is at the moment. What is beautiful to see is you actually being genuine and your talent in the beautiful editing and the shots taken, and of course, at the end of the day your personality, sometimes you feel like an older sister and it has been amazing to have grown and to have seen you grow. Please keep not listening to what "the people" want when it comes to leading your own moments in real life. I think you are right Tara. 'Relatable' is the new 'real'. I recall a demand for so called real women to be portrayed in the media and used as models. This was an attack on thin, fit, beautiful women. They were deemed unreal as the were not average. So, relability is a rebranding of this concept. I feel that if women can learn to accept themselves, and stop looking for validation from who others are, they will find the ability to accept difference. ❤ Just keep being you. We are cool with that.
I love watching your travel vlogs. I am at a stage of my life that finds me being a full time caregiver to my Mom and working full time at a stressful job. I am not going anywhere right now due to obligations. I love watching your travels. I can dream about the paces I could go if I had less responsibilities.

I studied abroad in Paris in 2011 and the first weekend there I met guys at a club who were from Switzerland - we are still really close friends!! I've been to Switzerland to visit countless times, and they have been to America to visit too! International friendships are the best.

Kindle case recommendation: I have the same transparent case on my kindle, I also have a sticker collection, so I place stickers on the inside of the case without taking the sticky backing off and u can make a scrapbook page on the inside of your kindle and switch it out whenever you want! Can also put paper, Polaroids, tickets etc. on the inside!
